Display other weapons in the Hall of Monuments? at least tormented weapons

I still find it hard to believe that the programmers of Guild Wars are so lazy that you still can not display at least tormented weapons besides the destroyer weapons

Actually they made 11 super tiny little spots to display weapons but there are just 11 destroyer weapons

Besides the fact that there was obviously no "roleplayer" quality control check, because how stupid in the storyline would it be if a monk gets himself daggers or other non caster weapons for example..., how boring would it be just to have only one sort of weapons on display?

no, bad idea.

the monument for weapons was designed to be destroyer only so leave it.

just because a few players aint amused it shldnt mean they have to change it.

especially when players like myself spent time/effort/money to fill that monument with destoyer weapons.

ur not happy that its destroyer only. well heck, ur not happy with that, why not change the primary attribute system because i cant use them all on one char!!

You fail to understand what the monument is all about.

It is not there to showcase your swank stuff.
It is not there to transfer any items to GW2.

You must collect 11 tokens called 'destroyer weapon' and add them to the monument to unlock the bonus weapons pack (like the pre-order bonus packs of the original GW) in GW2.

There is no guarantee that there is a 1-to-1 correspondence between GW and GW2 professions, weapon types, weapon mods or statistics. What you put in != what you'll get out. It's just another quest. I don't see anybody complaining that Duke Barradin only accepts Althea's Ashes instead of, say, a perfectly fine charr carving that just dropped outside Piken's Square.

Is there any guarantee that we will actually get anything tangeable from the hall as it is?

You mentioned a bonus weapons pack, is that heresay, or proven?

Also

/signed coz there destroyer weapons aren't very l33t in their current state, and including other weapons (which are rare, set few only.)

Neither, I've deduced it from the given information through my amazing cognitive powers and could tell how the other monuments work as well although some minor details depend on other game design decisions. The current level of QQ is nothing compared to what you'll see once the details get published ...

If I understand the op I don't think this is a suggestion or a debate about what might come from having a full Hall and that it is to complain.

EotN screams rushed out the door and so does the hall. IMO I feel that they where told to cut corners to get the game out the door. I can only hope that once GW2 is far enough into development that ANET will return to finish the work started on EotN such as; Silver Eagle Armor for the remaining classes and an update to the hall.

Just because you spent time getting destroyer weapons doesn't mean they shouldn't change it.

Personally I think greens and unique skins should be allowed - people spent time effort and money to get them too.

HoM is GW:EOTN destroyer weapons are GW:EOTN... so they prolly dont change it... and this suggestion has come up a zillion times before

I want to put up my collectors items just because I like the looks and I play with those instead of all that bad looking xxx rated super shiny crap things imo. Just like someone else will say omg collectors items the most crap things ever!

When company x wants to give special offer by having there people collect package Y 20 times, then will not give the special offer because you have 20 packages from item B.

There are more urgent things then to fix that, letting us know what the hom will implement in gw2 would be off far more concerns to us!

Destroyer weapons are actually quite cheap.
But Tormented weapons require more farming.

Either way it's been oversuggested and not implimented, so +1...
