How do I get a guild hall for a new guild?

Hi. I am new to the whole guild thing. I have just started my own guild. I have an emblem/banner. That was the easy part. My question has three parts.

1. Do I have to be PVP to get hall?
   Do I have to be alligned with one of the two factions to have a hall and if so how do I allign myself with one?
   Do I have to have a hall to recruit new players to my guild?

That is it in a nutshell. Hope someone out there can help me.
Look for me in Guild Wars Prophecies campaign. My igns are: Spirit of an Eagle(PVE), Dragon Starchild(PVP), Usha Dragon Maiden(PVP) or my daughter-Dawnfire Star(PVE). Please note if you are talking to Dawnfire Star, she is a mature 12 yr old so just be nice to her.

1 ) nope, you only need a sigil. Can be bought in Heroes Ascent.
2 ) Nope, but you have to be aligned with a faction to play AB. You can pledge yourself to a faction you got to go to House Zu Helzer or Cavalon
3 ) Nope

I hope you have some previous guild experience. Otherwise I advice you to join an existing guild first to see how its done and get some experience...

When you speak with http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Canthan_Ambassador to see the pretty halls, you will find the http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Sigil_Trader somewhere in the hall. Speak with her, and she can sell you the sigil, then go talk with the Ambassador again, give him the sigil while you are visiting the hall you wish to buy.

Luxon or Kurzick is just a personal preference I guess. I like playing Luxon better but for me, Kurzick armor looks way cool, so I went Kurzick.

You will need to align with one of those factions if you wish to start your own alliance, or if you wish to have your guild be part of another alliance.
