How many "mules" do you have?
C R A F T
I have three main playable characters; a ranger, necro, and a monk. I keep one slot open to try out new characters, when I feel like playing a sin or ele, and three or so mules for "stuff".
One of them holds green and gold items (I salvage/sell all the rest).
One has my runes for future pieces of armor and heroes.
The last one holds various quest items, commendations, awards, minis and the like.
What's your account look like?

None atm, but I have 3 slots left in storage and i want to start getting more 15k armor for HoM and destroyer weaps, so soon I'll have a few.
MithranArkanere
12 slots:
- 10 PvE characters
- 1 perma-pre slot (slot, not character, I delete it once in a while to change professions)
- 1 PvP slot.
- 0 mules.
I'm not paying for a character slot I'm not going to use to play.
Anyways, another character just means +45 inventory slots (a bit more countir weapon slots and hero weapon slots)
Since all what I need to store are armors for characters, it would be a pain to use other characters. Having to change characters armors anytime I want to change armors?
Madness!

Four 'spoiled' characters. My Necromancer (obviously), Ritualist, Monk and Warrior (made by my boyfriend as a surprise <3) are the ones I'm most likely to play.
Two Mules, one is a Sin (can't play them >.<) and the other a Mesmer (don't ask). The Sin holds my random stuff, materials, consumables and Monument Taperstries. The Mesmer has Exp. Scrolls, two setd of armour and a couple of weapons.
Three rarely played girls: Para (for survivor), Ele (kicks and giggles) and a Ranger (got a bit bored, currently also on her way to rank one Survivor).
Surprisingly, despite several Elite sets, I do not farm o.O

Because skill is > equipment, i dont have 15 weapon sets for each charracter, and i salvage armors i dont use, so no need for mules.

Actually every character could be a mule soon
5 sets of armor and 11 destroyer weapons each - yikes - not to mention 20 minis

Tosha

Cale Roughstar
1 mule atm, but another is just over the horizon.
Nemo the Capitalist
5 mules outta 8
arbiter
i got 5 mules, 1 pvp, 2 pve chars i actually play
mr_groovy
9 chars, all mules atm, switching spots on the fly for open spaces
Kattar
3 mules.
They're not really mules, they're just chars I don't play so much. 2 are anyway. 1 is a PvP, so yeah.

Stranger The Ranger
None, never needed one. Saving up random crap like dyes and runes is pointless imo : | I just sell em right away.
Brianna
Three.
One fully dedicated to holding weapon mods and inscriptions and such, and the other two for random crap that I accumulate(d) over time.

Targuil
Zero... i just don't have slots. (3 pve, 5 pvp)
Darkstar The Legend
i'm at about 6 mules right now.
I have 1 main character and 2 others that i play occasionally.
1 mule carries just my mains' armour and some on her weapon sets.
another is just for materials, another just for inscriptions.
The other three have a mixture of weapons, event items, and other crap i keep for some unknown reason.

None. Mules are not a player race in Guild Wars. Perhaps you are thinking of Dungeon Siege.

I have 10 characters who I all still play with varying frequency, and they're all also mules.
Everyone of them keeps one category of items in the top 20 inventory spots (the backpack). That leaves me with 200 spots to keep items in addition to the storage. Not a thing more, ever. I sell, give away, destroy everything that doesn't fit this scheme.
I leave one tab of my storage empty as a receptacle for the character I'm going to play. When I log a character on, the first thing I do is transfer his/her 20 items into storage. Before I log off, the last thing I do is retrieve these 20 items. I'm quite pleased with how that works.

If you make numbers, we have... hm... 45+5+2+50 = Around 100 slots available for new character, spread into inventory and equipment for heroes...
If they allowed to make 'mules' that do not equip items and that you could access from other characters, then mules would be an option.
But not now.
Snograt
21 characters of which around 12 are mules. I just can't bring myself to merch greens and req 9 golds, regardless of their worthlessness
garethporlest18
I don't have any mules because I won't keep anything if my storage is getting too full, I'll start to destroy and merch.

I have 23 character slots, only my main Warrior , Elementalist, Necro and Monk are not mules.
The irony is that my main char was actualy my first mule, since we only had 4 character slots in prophecies and my main was Monk , and Messmer + 1 slot for PVP. The warrior was only a Mule named "My Storage Agent" - Now warrior is at 29 max titels and definatly my main Character.
Paragon is mule for Spears + Spearupgrades,
Ranger carry all r9 Bows,
Ritualist is focus & shield inscription mule,
2nd monk is Minipet mule,
3rd monk is collecors item mule (mainly for wintersday & helloween stuff)
Derwish is Scythes & Scythes upgrades mule,
PvP ele is Staff upgrades mule,
PVP Mesmer is mule for caster weapon inscriptions,
1st PvP Warrior is mule for Sword + Axe upgrades,
2nd PvP warrior is mule for all r9 Sword & Axes i want to keep.
PvP monk is mule for all r9 focus & caster weapons,
PvP sin is mule for Greens,
PvP Necro is mule for wand upgrades focus upgrades and 15^50 inscriptions,
main Messmer is full with messmer weapons,
PvP Ranger is mule for Bow upgrades.
2nd Messmer is mule for insignas & runes,
PvP monk is mule for random r9 rares,
2nd Elementalist is mule for (15k armors of main Warrior & Monk),
main Sin is mule for daggers & dagger upgrades.
Did i miss someting?
The reason i have so many mules is that i hate trading so i rather keep everything that i might need later on and alot of the items i keep are just too good to be merch food.

No actual mules, just which ever characters I'm not using get used for storage. If I start using them then I move the junk to other chars.
free_fall
Gosh, I must have 8 or 9 mules out of 26 chars, though some of the played chars become mules from time to time when I'm playing another of the playable chars. A few mules store greens and golds, 1 each hold Factions and NF collectors items and the others just hold "stuff" - weapon mods, runes and such.
I recently started seriously playing a female W mule, had to go from lvl 6 to lvl 20 with only 3 open inventory slots. Once I got her to Elona and grabbed some heroes, I was able to free up quite a bit of space.

Malice Black
I have a 2nd account for that purpose.
