My old guild, Dark League, lasted for two years and 10 months. Then again, for the last year I was the only active member in it so I'm not sure it counts.

Order of the Setting Sun has been around since beta testing.
We are still together and although some members have come and gone the original 4 of us that started the guild are still in it. We will of course have the same guild name in GW 2 as well. I can’t really say we are the “oldest” guild but I can say we are one of the original guilds of Guild Wars.

started playing on 4th july 2005 and started Knights of the Keyboard Order [KkO] on same day with some reallife friends.
Have become guildleader about a year ago when our first guildleader took a step back.
But we are still up and running around the 50 members mark, to be a fun and friendly mature guild with people from all over Europe and some people in the american / australian time zone's.
so in about 3 months time KkO will be three years old.

The outpost of Zos Shivros Channel was named after the Zealots of the Shiverpeaks, and Amazon Basin have the Amatz Basin named after them.

I was in The Kaizen Order[kaiz] a year ago when DoA was quite lucrative and left last summer for a more pvp oriented guild. I dont know if the guild is still around, but kaiz was started on april 29/2005, one day after the official release date of prophecies.

my guild's been around for 33 months. i made it about a day after i bought the game and its just got me and my friends in... we dont really do much.

My guild - Death Strikers, formed about 1 week after the prophesies was launced, still live and kicking with 70 + members.

nice that for the info I have only been playing the game since last october and took a break because well ... idk really but i thought this would be intresting if you still find more guilds ill like to know

The oldest two guilds in the game, both of which are still around, are Zealots of Shiverpeak and Random Ascalon Fools. Though technically Zealots of Shiverpeak was originally "Zealot O Shiverpeak" because of the limited guild name space.
Other really old guilds I can think of are The Fianna, Nerf Herders, The Knights Who Say Ni, and Scorpion Lords of Doom. The are all either dev guilds or early alpha guilds.

The Guild that i'm in has been around since beta basicly. Oldest Member is Electra Sol, which joined 6/1/05 and he is somewhat active. Some of the orginal founders played in beta. My Guild is pritty old. But i can't give you an offical date of when the guild was created.

'my' guild was created on june 23, 2005 there are still active members in it....not the oldest, but we are still kicking after almost 3 years (with the same membership too---dont know of many other guilds that can say that!)

Oh, if you'd like to dig that far, the actual creation of ZoS has taken place in the first days of winter 2004, it's just that the guild members weren't given the full benefits of the guild, but were rather using the "Zos" nickname tags placed before their character names.
