Human Bosses Aren't Human Sized?

I fought a couple of white mantle bosses in the Maguuma Jungle missions. And I noticed that even though those bosses are supposed to be human, they are a lot bigger than me. Is this just because that they are bosses? Thanks.

..well they are probably on an elevated plane, are bigger then you because you picked small or medium sizes and they are are the largest possible scale...

No it wasn't because of elevated plane. Well no, my character size is around average for a male warrior, and since male warriors are relatively big in size compared to other character, I'm actually above average in size. However, those bosses were a lot bigger than me. They were about the size of a Norn.

they are mutant babies... making them bigger, but stupider. simple enough.

Size of mobs is related to their level. Higher level = bigger. Bosses are mobs. And normally high level.

eg. flesh golem , lvl 0 death magic puny , lvl 16 death magic massive , 21 death magic ginormous

This is right, there is also a small difference in pets, with a big change in the rainbow phoenix.A level 3 flesh golem looks like a cute littel undead dog, monster thing a pumped up level 31one made of consumables is 3 times as big as the smallest female necro.

They need to be big. In their little parts of the world they have many challenges to see who gets to be boss. So its like an all in brawl to see who is the toughest. In GW it's nearly always the biggest baddest MOFO who gets to wear a shiny aura and call himself BOSS. Like a "Who is the toughest" trophy.

All bosses are bigger then the regular monsters of the same type. Ever seen dwarf bosses? They are about the same size as my sin! Some "Dwarf."
