I have never.. been so depressed at GW then right now.

Look.. at this drop I just got.


I slaved in Rragnars for 3 hours with the worst group ever ON hard mode we fought countless enemies, we had 2 rage quitters, we STILL made it to the end..

and I got this..

At first I was the most excited, my first great drop in MONTHS.. I would have a good new bow droped me me at last!!

I didnt even ID it for a few minutes, I went afk to tell my friends and roomate (who all play GW) about my bow

then I ided..


and look at this.


Sigh I am ... very very very depressed and unhappy, I havnt gotten good drop in litterly months. and now.. I get so excited.. only to have my hopes and dreams totaly 100% Smashed to bits.

someone help me be less depressed.
I cant sell it, I tried nobody will even offer 20k for it.. even though a req10 with an inscr goes for 100k + ectos

What do I do?

How is this EVEN POSSIBLE? arnt all items from chests in Eye of the north sposed to have inscription slots? what the hell?! is this a fluke? help me.

A. You obviously modded it, or it would have a Deathbane mod.
B. Why did you mod it? Merch food imo.
C. Dryad Bow is ick, unless you really like it, I would just move on, I just hope to god you brought your Hard Mode Dungeon Guide, that dungeon is hell in HM.

you can't let something like this dictate your enjoyment of the game.

I've been playing for a year and a half now... I have NEVER gotten a drop worth more than 20k, sure it bothers me once in a while but I don't let it get me down.

What you should think about is how you overcame the dungeon, beating a hard challenge and having fun. Sure it always feels great to get good drops but you can't expect them to just happen.

I'll admit tho, your circumstance is particularly devastating. I mean it gets your hopes up and then squashes them right after.

Yes I did mod it, and yes it had a deathbane mod.. has this happend to others before?

Every non-inscribable weapon which should be inscribable has a Deathbane mod on it.

A.k.a Gold items that drop in NF and EotN that aren't inscribable.

Aw....not THAT bad. Be patient, someone will buy it . If I had more than 10k I'd put in a decent offer for it in spite of the "flaw"...get desperate, pm Red Zip in game...I'll give you 10k....wish I had more....who knows, if I play a bit, I might. Really though, you could do better.

It's very unfortunate at what happened, but it does happen. Some gold drops from NF/GWEN have no inscription slot just like how some gold drops from P/F have no inherit mods.

It's a normal thing, there's no point in making a thread about it.
