List of Rare Skins?

So, we all know about the Icy Dragon Sword and how it only drops as a rare item (gold). Well, now I'm hearing about a bunch of other weps that drop only as rares from chests, etc. like Emerald Blade, Icy Blade Axe, Crystalline Sword. Does anybody have a list of all these items that only drop as rare? Or even just a list of all elite skins? Thank you for any and all input.

Icy Blade Axe and Crystalline Swords are rather old, if your just now hearing about them, you need to get out from under the virtual rock in GW. Also, Wiki has a list of all weapons, the weaposn that have more design in them are the rare weapons, also at the top of the main page, it said "Design-A-Weapon Contest" that gives the new rare weapons.

You might want to consider that Musha might be newish to the game and hasn't played for very long, and the only source of information they have had has been from players in-game - thus why they have heard/known about certain weapons/drops but are only now hearing about other types/drops. Not everyone who comes to these forums has been playing for years - you might want to remember that next time you think about flaming/insulting someone.

Musha - generally going through the weapon list's on both the official and unofficial wiki can give a good indication of whats rare and whats not and they generally list where the the weapons drop.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to find a page listing just "rare" type's of skins, you'll just need to go through the full listing of weapons (and there's a lot of different skins...) to locate the information your after.

Rare changes. It changes drastically, and suddently at times. If you asked 12 months ago, Elemental Swords and Dead Swords would have been on the list selling for 100k+ecto. Now, due to farming and the addition of GW:EN, Dead Swords sell for 10-20k on average, and Elemental Swords sell for 20-50k.

This type of list will change a lot, and isn't worth someone's time to do. Its one of those things you have to learn yourself, or ask someone who does know (I'm not talking Forum users, I'm talking guild/alliance members).

Only really a few 'rare' skins, the other items are just highly valued.

Certain mods can be rarer then a skin. (like no negatives)

For example a req8 15^50 Crystalline is the rarest sword in the game (due to skin, inherent mod and low req). I've not seen one on sell for years, nor am I sure if there is still one on an active account.

That sword is god among swords. It'll never lose value due tot he fact only inscriptable ones drop now, and the lowest req they come in is 9.

If they look "cool"...

Through experience. If in doubt, you can use the search function and see the price people PC, or sell it for. If still in doubt, ask

If it's big, shiney, impractical in appearance and generally sword-like, it could be rare.

Do searches though, in Ventari's. Although it reflects badly on the wider community, I'd advise against spamming in Local 'Is this Voltaic Spear rare?'.

Eh its not really possible... rare skins are skins that everyone likes and is hard to obtain...There is no "list". You can tell if its rare skinned if its gold and you have never seen it before. Oh and absurbdly high prices generally means its a rare skin. As a rule of thumb if its shiny, see through, glowy, BIG, and/or is animated... its rare skin

True till it gets overfarmed. Though I kinda agree with you most rare skins are like what you have descibed hehe.

well that helps and doesnt all at the same time HAHA. is there a place in here for pics of items that could be rare? if not i think that might be a good idea to do.

Just look at the high end sell forum here in Guru. Then check the wiki for the farm locations/pictures of it.

Keep in mind that "rare" and "high-priced" are not the same thing. There are rare (drop occurence) weapons that are cheap to buy because the skin is not popular.

Crystalls can be purple. But still are really rare.
