Getting A Golden Item From Elonian Treasures

Everybody knows there are a few trasures/Do not touch!/Buried Treasure etc. in Nightfall.You usually get a rare material such as a diamong,ruby etc.a gold item and some cash.Well,the first few runs You do!I got the loot I described earlier during the first 5-6 run I made with my chars on the elonian treasures.Now all I get is a crappy purple item and way less gold :/ What the hell man?What do I have to do to keep 'em gols comin instead of crappy purples?Most of my chars whch got access to all elonian treasures get purples(4 chars to be exact) and they all get crap from treasures :/ I've been waitin for like 5 months hopin' for the treasures to "regenerate" and start spittin' the good stuff.Will it help or will my chars all get purples everytime?How much do I have to wait for the treasures to regenerate?Gettin purples ain't worth wastin ~2hours of running around per char :/ Does anybody got any clues on how to solve my(and I bet not only mine) problem?

It scales down when you do the same ones over and over. If you wait a few months between treasures, you'll be back to getting golds.

I think it's random.
I run the treasures every month (they regenerate once per month) with three of my avatars, and get mostly golds. But maybe it's different if you have like nine avatars do it.

it depends on how much you do it, and the drops are random. I have never gotten a diamond/ruby/sapphire from one of those chests. all I have gotten is gold weapons, like my req 9 igneous blade, caster modded, that I use for my 600 monk.

I got 7 chars in total.As I said earlier the ones that made bout 5-6 runs on the treasures get purples mostly and I didin't bother since to get all of those treasures hopin' for golds coz it would be a waste of time.

I used to get virtually 100% golds. I just ran my character through after waiting 2-3 months and got 6 purples in 6 chests....

If you run treasures with one mule, you get virtually only golds. If you do it with several characters, drops will get worse.

i think its scaled by how many times uve opened the in the past on that character....i got my sin through NF a few days ago...opened the chests...all golds+2k....went through em on my tank who has been in NF a while and has opened them all multiple times...all purples and about 300g a chest...theyve got to b scaled by amount of times done b4

I think they scale. My first NF character, my dervish, got golds and 2.5k+ from most chests. My Ranger got a mix of purples and golds. Now my Warrior is going through NF and has only gotten one gold from the chests (she has opened every one up to the Mirror of Lyss one).

you opened them just earlier on your sin, thats why
if you first ran with your tank and then with your sin, he would get the purples

I did get a lot of money though and the golds were great (20/20 +30 sword, Superior Vigor, +30 +30 Staff )

These treasures are completely random, there is no way to tell. Wiki lies. I opened them when they first came out, when it refreshed teh first time, once a few months after. and today, because you reminded me. It has been about... idk, almost a year and i got purple drops from them. i have 3 character, none of which have opened or even touched one since then

I agree in the total randomness of these treasures/items. On one char i will run it once a month the same time every month, and another char, i always do every 2 months just to test the frequency correlation that everyone speaks of. The drops are totally oddball no real pattern to them across those 2 chars even with their consistent check patterns
