OK I will get to the point. If you go through all 4 of the underbosses in normal mode, can you then zone back to Olafstead, get HM, go back and beat Duncan and get HM credit for the whole thing. If you think this is a stupid question keep in mind that I am a stupid person. Thanks.
Well it would be easier from Grotto imo, but yes you can do that. In fact, that is what I think most groups do, since Duncan's hp is lower in HM, or so I've been told.
His HP isn't lower in HM, but he does attack much faster hence why he dies faster. SV triggers more often.
In answer to the OP's question though, yes. You only need to kill Duncan in HM for you to get the credit. The other bosses in HM can be a nightmare and you only need to do them in NM.
