Player warriors have +20 armor vs. physical damage. Is this also true for monsters in PvE? If so, then what about dual-profession monsters like jungle trolls (use both warrior and ranger skills)? Thanks in advance.

we have dual professions too. When in doubt use an Ebon dmg weapon to do more dmg to warrior classes.

1. Is elemental damage more effective against warrior profession monsters (just like it's more effective against players)?

2. For dual-profession monsters, how do you know which is the monster's primary profession (thus it has the armor of that profession)?

1. Yes. Warrior monsters take more damage from elemental weapons.

2. Test it yourself with Wild Blow and an elemental and a physical weapon. A primary warrior foe will take more damage from elemental.

1. PvE monsters tend to have "theme" weaknesses. Fire monsters are weak to cold, even the rangers; (prophecies) plants are weak to slashing, even the warriors; (factions) statue monsters are weak to blunt, even warriors; etc.

2. For monsters that don't have a particular theme, I think they have the same class-based (relative) resistances found on player armor.
