So I'm workin on my paragon now and I wondered if I could skip doin missions in NM. Do I get protector and guardian if I do only HM? Or do I have to play NM first? (don't get me wrong it's not my first char, I have access to HM).

it is a per character title so u would be at 3/6 if u just did hm, but u would also get the individual titles for hm, but u wouldn't get them for nm

Wiki say only missions in normal mode contribute to Protector title.

If you want both titles, you'll have to do each mission in NM and HM.

I was just confused cause in game it says "You will earn the title Protector of XXX once you obtain the Master's Reward for all missions on the continent of XXX"
It doesnt state that you need to do them in NM.

Anyway, thx for the replies.

washi - protector and guardian are two different titles. this is most likely what you got confused on.

doh... I didn't get confused on anything, my main has lvl 5 koabd. The simple fact is that Protector's description does not state you need to do this on NM, so I thought I could take a shortcut.

Yea, it's a bit stupid that HM master's doesn't count for Protector as well, but on the other hand Protector is one of the fastest and easiest titles anyway, so it isn't too much of a hassle to do it separately.

I wondered the same thing I'd assumed the same as you. Best way to do it is just try one HM mission and see what happens.

OK then, I wasn't sure whether people were guessing or actually stating it.
