After nearly three years since the initial release of Guild Wars, what do you do on Guild Wars now?

As for me, I only have 44 vanquishing tasks and a tons of farming left to do. Perhaps I can get my other seven characters through Eye of the North. Personally, I don't find the three campaigns and one expansion to be enough to satisfy me.

Nowadays I farm, grind titles, AB, TA, RA, and talk to friends.

I mostly try to get my 'main' character HoM completeded... but I have no room to store armor once I made them... so I leaving that for later... and I have no need for Destroyer weapons... so I leaving that for the end.

With my other characters I just try to get all outposts unlocked while playing them game... but lately I do not use them too much. I like the factions quests, because the points I earn there while playing are account wide.

Sorry for not clearly explaining my point there. The three campaigns and the one expansion are good games, and of course, they can satisfy players for a lengthy amount of time. Nonetheless, my point is that they are not enough to satisfy players until the release of Guild Wars 2.

I'm about to finish GWEN on my second character. After that, I've got 3 more that need to finish GWEN and NF and 3 survivors I'm working on.

Work on titles and do a ton of FoW with guildies and friends. If I ever get around to set aside my paragon I want to start playing my assassin as I heard its pretty fun

I actually dont do much.
Dont title farm.
Dont really farm anything much for that matter.
Dont vanquish.
Dont work on completing HoM.

I pretty much just play through the storyline with the charracters that have not completed them. Ive never completed Prophecies, the horrible Maguuma Jungle missions deter me. So i do that when i muster enough strength.
And help in alliance, or join in when they are up to something. but only when its something fun. Helping out on missions like Gate of Madness is just not fun. :|

I just try to farm up for elite armors, at least 1 for all characters is my goal. still need it for monk (labyrinthe hopefully...ugh), ele (prolly elite iceforged), ranger (not sure yet) sin (not sure yet), and my rit to be (not sure yet)

and then help my guild out on missions and such when I can

- Farm DoA, FoW, HM Vaettir... money for necro money sink titles and armors I still want.
- Chat with my friends
- Go idle in my GH
- More rarely, work on storylines.
- And yeah, when my team is on, vanquishing.

That's pretty much it for me.

Vanquishing mostly, because it's the "hip" thing to do in the alliance, that and it gets me money for more and more armors I don't need but desperately want.

Other than that I typically waste time chatting/helping out with guildies/alliance friends.

1. Killing off and making new characters.
2. Doing stuff with my ritu - mostly stuff I did millions of times before - like Vizunah, exploring the world (non-title related) or just thinking what armour he'd look sweet in!
3. Brawling with some guys for LS ( I need to do it on my mesmer - halfway there, paragon - needs around 400k and ele - just started - more then 1mil to go.) Taking my time although it is quite fun.
4. TRYING to find a title outside of Lucky/Unlucky that would interest me enough so that I'd try to obtain it. And next to the Sweet Tooth one (which is just too insanely expensive + it's not like I'd need to ... like ... play to get it ) - there just isn't anything that I'd look at and go "WOW! I WANT that!".
5. Would love to PUG a bit again - but I am never in the mood for it.

Troll Kamadan AD1 saying "WoW is STRICTLY better than GW, and I'll pay 100k to anyone with CONCRETE PROOF otherwise!"

It's funny what happens.

(NOTE: There is no correct rebuttal to that statement, ergo I can never lose.)

While Guild Wars was never meant to satisfy people for long lengths of time, the fact is more personal preference.

That said, when I log on it's usually for a random vanquish or fight through an area.

"WarCraft 2 is clearly better than Doom 2". That's pretty much the gist of what you're claiming. As you can see it doesn't get far.

Also, how do you claim that Karazhan's all "colorful and happy" when you've barely even step foot in it?

That's why it's funny. It's a baseless claim, yet people will go to any end to defend any threat to the awesomeness of Guild Wars.

(Or they just want 100k.)
