Slaver's Exile HM/NM confusion querry

Ok so on my journey to go to the asura side of Tyria i stopped in Umbral Grotto for a coffee and a some pizza combos and noticed there was alot of hype about some guy named duncan. So after asking a few questions and being berated for being a noob by some very astute individuals i decided to quest away. So I proceed to burn havoc with savannah and killed the four supposed underlings of the notorious duncan the african american (try to be PC people). Of course due to my novelty of the scene i conquered this feat in normal mode.

Then after i grew a pair of hefty testicles that my petite ele with her iceforged armor could scarcely hide. i decided to face d-dawg in hardmode. I joined a hardmode team and watched as one necro used only two skills to kill the idiot who was chillin and readin the paper while sitting on our expired tank.

After it was all said and done i realized a couple of things. First the completion did not go into the MD guide. So when i ran to the entrance i was staring at the unsightly pelvis of some norn skank who said i couldnt go in. I told her that duncan was already dead and i just wanted my money but she bitch slapped me and said that i wasnt getting paid.

Basically, i cant get back into SE, i cant accept the reward. And since i did the mission in both in NM and HM it hasnt registered in the nm-MD guide and i havent gotten the norn points...What the hell...any thoughts

It's only the Duncan that counts as the completion of the dungeon (therefore everyone who wants HM does the others in normal and duncan in hard) so unfortunately it would not register in your nm guide, sorry.

Not sure why you can't accept the reward though... odd

First thought is: you're in the wrong section of the forum. You may find help (and answers already) in the Questions and Answers, or Bugs sections.

I think you need to complete the Eotn campaign first...

already searched...didnt find anything....thats why i put up my own post. but if they need to move this then go ahead and move it.

And if i completed it in HM wouldnt i get the norn points or do i need the hardmode MD guide in my inventory in order for me to get the norn points

You don't need the guide with you to get the points, you only need it with you for it to count towards the guide. Best way to check if it counted or not is to open up your map and there's a gold icon over the dungeon then you're fine, if there isn't you need to do it again.
