Okay, so I have Prophesies and Nightfall (awesome expansion). I want to buy Factions, but no store in my area has it, so I have to buy it online. When I check best buy, target, circuit city, etc, they have the price at around $30. When I go to NCSoft's website or try to buy it ingame, the price is $40. Why is there a price difference?

Are there any heroes in Factions (<3 Heroes)?

The reason it's more expensive is that ANet / NCSoft are contractually obligated to sell it for the MSRP. Even if if the game was 10 years old, they still have to sell it at that price. Retail outlets would freak out and call in the lawyers should ANet/NCSoft breach that contract.

if you have NF and factions, you can get a sin hero, but that is the only one in the campaign. heroes can be used to fill party slots, same as in prophs

I was wondering this same thing the other day because I wanted to add factions to my second account. Best thing to do is wait for one of the major retailers to have a sell, and hopefully the price drops. I know in the begining of last summer EB Games/Gamestop have clearence sales and I was able to get Nightfall for $20, so I suggest just being a little patient, eventually it will go down.

As for the hero issue, there is one male assassin hero named Zenmai I think, but people rarely use a sin hero...
