Vampiric build^.^;
Sage Sanctus
Hey everyone,
I've recently signed up on the forums, but have been using them for a long time.
This may sound sad, but due to having Shiro's blades and never having done anything with them, I feel inclined to actually create a vampiric build, but I'm stumped as to where to start.
I'm guessing that it may need to be A/Mo, or a different proffesion but take a different set of daggers.
Here's my thoughts:
Way of the Assassin [elite]
Critical Eye
Way of Perfection(Not sure if its entirely neccessary here)
And then I'm not too sure of what to add. I'm not particularly worried if i need to go down the mending route as I can make up for the energy loss with my elite and Critical eye.
Thanks guys
p.s. purely because I love the skn of Shiro's Blades, I know vanity can be so stupid

DEAR GOD!!! MENDING!!!
seriously, stay away
and don't go crit daggers, use an attack chain, much more effective
if you want to go critspam use a different weapon (scythe or bow comes to mind)

technically, it's life stealing

lol thanks guys, I thought I'd have that response about mending^.^
So just take any normal build, or has someone got a proposed one? I'm guessing Death Blossom would be a wise choice?
Thanks again

Thanks again Well, if you have nightfall get that SS Assassin skill, then you'll be lifestealing like mad.

Take two pair of daggers: a zealous and a vampiric pair.

Ok, thanks for that Pyro, and everyone else
jonnieboi05

Try to carry a pair without any form of degen as well. Most people would recommend Ebon. Helps no end against Warriors too.

It is certainly not bad to carry it, however I think it's redundant. zealous doesn't give you an disadvantage outside of battle (+3 or +4 regen /care).
About the warriors, with the low base damage of the daggers and the fact that most mobs are 4-5 levels above you, you won't notice a difference.
Still, daggers and elemental mods are cheap. If you like, carry an extra pair.

Weaponswaps are leet.
Go for a defensive set (Sword, Shield) for an off-spike set.

Kk, thnx guys youve really helped=)
ill keep a zealous pair and the vampiric with me and get my hands on an elemental pair

id have to disagree, i see no reason to use zealous daggers in this case. take an ebon pair like they said. zealous just hinders your energy regen if you are not using it as your primary dagger set.
Sage Sanctus
I've always found that, although not very often, I have more energy problems when not using a zealous pair.

zealous takes away 1 pip (1 energy per 3 seconds) and adds 1 energy on every hit (roughly 1,5 energy per second with 14 dagger mastery and a 33% IAS)
This is only, of course, when you hit everything.

Switch out of your Zealous set while not attacking or doing anything to stop the energy regen reduction...?
Sir Pandra Pierva
zelous are good when just attacking on a person to get energy back

p.s. purely because I love the skn of Shiro's Blades, I know vanity can be so stupid yea the only dagger's i would get is shiros... and realized that it is completely useless... so i just went the alternate route and made a/d with tengu scythe (that thing is huge)

Speaking of vampiric build, I don't know what to do with Vampiric Assault.
Suggestions?
Suggestions?

'Damage'-wise, Vamp Assault is meh. The best use I've gotten out of it...
Speccing:
Deadly Arts 12+1+1
Dagger Mastery 8+1 (req. PvP Daggers)
Critical Strikes 8
- Crit Eye for energy management
- Moebius/Vamp Assault for repeated life steal.
Blossom was in there as well to keep up the chain above 50%HP (damage was laughable though), Dark Prison/Black Spider for shortcut and degen, Augury of Death for DW and secondary Hex. Mind you this was pre-Augury-nerf. Last slot was reserved for Dash (as if I'd try it anywhere else than AB).
It was very clunky, only moderately effective: imho not worth it.
I say leave the crap skill to rot.

Can't use conjure with a vamp weapon as it has no effect.

So instead you use Strength and Honor
Magikarp
vamp is this:
deadly 12+1+1
channeling 12
dancing daggers
nightmare weapon
mantis touch
vampiric assault
offering of spirit
disrupting dagger
impale
res
-or-
8+1 crits
12 deadly
10 channeling
palm strike
vamp assault
nightmare weapon
siphon speed or dash
ancestors rage
impale
disrupting dagger
res
neither are amazing, but do dish out some cool, highspeed life stealing, and the nightmare+vamp assault+vamp dagger stack is fun to see!
have fun :P

Tamgi Sun
Imho...
Build:
12+1+3 Deadly Arts
12 Channeling Magic
3 Dagger Mastery
Vampiric Daggers of Fortitude with +5 Energy Inscription
-5 Energy Spear of Defence & Shield of Fortitude -Defensive set-
Insignias: Survivor & Radiant
Runes: Superior Vigor, Superior Deadly Arts, & the rest are personal preference.
Nightmare Weapon
Assassin's Promise [Elite]
Dark Prison
Black Spider Strike
Vampiric Assault
Impale
Signet of Toxic Shock
Dash OR Ancestors Rage, [To be used after Assassin's Promise, just before you Shadowstep in with Dark Prison]
Usage is pretty basic:
Hit Nightmare Weapon.
Get close enough to your target so they can't escape radar range within 1 second.
Cast Assassins Promse [Followed by Ancestors Rage if equipped] and then Shadowstep in with Dark Prison (Coverhex for Assassins Promise & the element of surprise)
Use Black Spider Strike -> Vampiric Assault -> Impale -> Signet of Toxic Shock.
Target will be more than likely dead.
Figures:
42 x 5 = 210 {From the three hits of Nightmare Weapon & the two of Vampiric Assault}
3 x 5 = 15 {From Vampiric Daggers}
106 From Impale
106 From Signet of Toxic Shock
Up to 100 from Deep Wound {From Impale}
-4 Degen from Poison.
526 Damage total. & -4 Energy Degen.
Enough to kill most targets in AB.
Also if you bought Ancestors Rage with you that will add a further 89 Damage to the Spike. Making the total damage output 605 + -4 Degen.
Counters: Standard Melee counters & Removal of Assassins Promise [Note that will be unlikely as not many carry Hex Removal in AB]
Target not dieing within 16 seconds.
