Im R6 Norn and i have just nearly finished my nm dungeon book if i hand it in to norn guy should get me 40k of points and will fall just over r8 will i loose any points or ?

NO you won't lose any points. But when you'll be R8, you can only get more points in hard mode. So I strongly recommend that you do hero books (or farm points) until you have about 79.999 points. And THEN turn in your Dungeon book, which will get you to 119.999, so you'll be very close to maxing the title.
