Treasure Chests

Has anyone else had treasure chest drops downgraded.I used to get some really nice gold drops from the chests in nf,but now I only get purple ones.. Not with any good mods either,shame used to be a good way to outfit heroes easily.

Once you have opened them a certain amount of times they no longer drop golds or rare mats. That is character based though, not account.

The drops from the treasure chests get progressively worse the more you open them. There's much speculation on the optimum way to open them. "Trying to open them too soon may affect the drop you get when the chest _has_ recharged", etc.
Also if you run them on multiple chars consecutively, even the first-opening can be purple, as the anti-farming code kicks in.
