GW2 must be going very commercial, I think they're gunna replace Andrew and Gaile with more "hip" PR's. God forbid its one of those annoying guys who forgo all the useful knowledge and just use very broad terms to explain how development is going...

Mainly just the PC industry. Console players will take a lot more stuff from developers because they have lower standards. PC gamers are bitter at the current market and we remember good games like Baldur's Gate, Thief 1&2, Planescape: Torment, etc. We've been spoiled by the likes of Looking Glass Studios, BioWare Corp, etc, and now the weaker developers can't make products of the same quality. Meanwhile for consoles you can get away with the likes of Halo 2.
