Japanese/Korean Letting Names.

Well.. how do you make them? Do you have to live in these places or is there some way to change so you can use Japanese/Korean lettering? -Interested.

the only way to get a japanese/korean/chinese name is to get a version of the game from said country----and with the burhahah that is going on now....welllllllllll, japan and korea may be the last ones you can get.

People from those regions sell Guilds with Asian characters. There used to be a seller in Ventari's sell under services that created Asian guilds for people and then transferred the leadership but I haven't looked to see if it's still there. Better yet befriend a player from an Asian country and get them to make you one.

Ok I know how to get them for Guild Tags now, but how do I actually get a Japanese name CHARACTER?

You're required to have an NCsoft account in Japan to be able to use hiragana, katakana, and kanji in your character name. American and European based accounts only accept the roman alphabet.

yes I will say it again since no one read my post.
the ONLY way to get non romanized characters (the 26 letters of the alphabet ) in your name is to BUY a copy of the game from a country like china/korea/japan. (this goes for numbers as well)
Even though my computer has kanji (I bought it IN japan---my OS is all in japanese), I CANNOT create characters with kanna or kanji or numbers in their names---it is NOT allowed because of the game copy I own, not because of my inability to type out the characters.
SO if you want those characters in your name:
buy a copy of the game from either Korea, China or Japan....OK????????
