So, Inner Fire works...now what?

Inner Fire was fixed just before April fools. I'm curious about what it's done to the difficulty of Destroyers and from a farming and rep farming via books.
I've not had a chance to play around with them yet myself.

I did a few primary quests, H/H in HM, didn't notice much of a difference. At most just a few seconds more to kill them off.

My friend tells me his farming build doesn't work anymore as the Destroyers out-regen his damage. :/ I daresay he'll find a way around it though. Such is Guild Wars. :B

It hasn't really been mashing up my playing that much, but that's only because i've been playing around with a direct damage build that gets past the immunity to burning that messes up degen. xD

well from a warrior stand point, yes it is impossible to farm them now. tried 5 times and didnt kill one. hopefully the ele side of things are in better conditions.

I farm glint's with my elementalist (I don't log in to GW after the update, yet) and with sliver armor that regen don't stop killing, in the begining they die like 1 for second, maybe when you got only 3 or 2 you cannot out-damg their regen even with alkar's alchemy acid, but can only be sure by trying

Farming is affected for sure. But otherwise they are still push overs as always. Inner Fire keeps them alive for a few more secs.

It's kind of like [skill]Spirit Light Weapon[/skill] only with out casting time, energy cost or conditional. It's isn't that bad....

VwK farming is effectively nerfed-not sure about sliver armor-haven't tried that yet.
In other locations, well, me and my alliance tore through Raven's Point last night in HM-took roughly 45 minutes-which is faster than what we normally are able to pull off. So they're still complete pushovers, and the only time I noticed any healing were with the ranger destroyers, and you can barely see some health gain when they enter their block stances-that is until our ele tore them a new one
I was a little disappointed-I thought they were going to be a challenge now.

Don't think it's really worth it, but I hear Scourge Healing is fun.

Does anyone not find it funny that it took Anet this long to fix the only heal skill on the destroyers who have no monk and are the super bad guys of GW.
Anet had no reason to fix this skill now they should have fixed it (during the beta of Gwen) but hey what can I say.

better late then never right. Possibly because even without healing, people cried about them being hard... I guess people had to learn that physicals = damage eventually.

The only thing you need to do is have a DPS over 30 and you're counteracting it-which is something a halfway near decent team should be able to pull off.

Debugging a program, particularly one as big and complicated as GW, is a pain. Just because there's a problem with say module A doesn't mean the problem lies in module A-could be from something that is completely unrelated that interferes with something related to A.

Destroyers are indeed rather tougher to kill now that Inner Fire works. But they are far from unkillable.
I notice the buff when I have heroes flagged and they have to fight Destroyers by themselves. Previously, they could handle them with no issue, now they struggle against them. When I return to the flagged heroes, the tide turns easily.

To put it one way, I was slowly but surely making my way through Glints Challenge, I could make it to wave 5-6, I'm sure I could of read builds on here that would have allowed me to complete easy, but I prefered trying and testing my own strategies.
Now I can't even make it past wave 1, so now I have to resort to looking online for foolproof builds, good job, at this rate there will only be a handful of decent builds for all characters
Ps. Will older players who were allowed (easier) version of Glints be penalised, No, it's just a kick in the chops for newer players

Stop QQing, Inner Fire was a broken skill, it was bugged! A.net haven't nerfed anything, they simply fixed a ingame bug.
But I do feel your pain, but there are some builds that still work, plus what about dual runs?
