Dedicating Mini Pets

I recently got a Mini Mallyx out of a coffer of whispers and I want to know how to keep from being dedicated to keep price up. Does putting it dedicate it(by putting it down i mean letting it walk around) Ive never had an undedicated mini pet before)

dedicated means you put it in your Hall of Monuments in Eye of the North. You can take him out all you want without dedicating him.

You wanna keep the price as high as possible on it right? Then don't dedicate it.
I'm sure people want a Undedicated Mallyx to put in their HoM. (Thus making it dedicated once you put it there)


You don't need to dedicate a minipet to use it, they only become dedicated in HoM if you place them there.
By dedicating it and then sell it others, they can't have it in their HoM but they can let it walk arround like any minipet.

I would never sell a Mallyx myself though if i finally got one

No, dedicating a mini pet means putting it in you HoM (Hall of Mounments). Once you dedicate it to your HoM, no one else can. You need EoTN expansion the get a HoM.

p.s. taking out you mini pet to have it walk around has no effect to it, so feel free to let it walk around as much as you like

Mallyx need a LOT of exercise and should be left to roam as much as possible , it keeps their claws trimmed nicely.
