wooot cleaned out lots of collector 'junk' I had on my mules----got another couple thousand party favors-----now just to wait and see what the finale will bring!!!
(though may go out and get more of some of those things---they are pretty easy to get for the most part).

yes indeed i do read the log-in announcements
i also read the Riverside Inn and Off-topic sections of the forum everyday
and i also got RSS feed from the site

I never knew about the -password "x" feature. Is it safe?

And I only read the announcements when it's something that catches my interest. So normally, I don't.

So what kind of stuff is dropping, and what are the town collectors asking for?

I read them, and this announcement was in gold/yellow whatever this time wasn't it?

Yeah hes there in the middle of his "Circle of Death" telling everyone to collect fireworks and stuff to make the party awesome.

But anyway anyone that doesnt use the -password should see the bright yellow announcement. Though its not an event until someone says "Where du i get hat for my?".

I can understand the average player to not know who Gaile exactly is, but I find it hard to believe that people can not understand what's happening tomorrow.

So Gaile has the devs convinced that everyone in GW loves her so much they give gaile her own weekend.

I loved what she tried to do for us, but she really wasnt very good at it.

I am sure this is more of a "we appreciate you for everything you have done" party and not a "everyone in Guild Wars loves Gaile" party. If you read her explanation to the community as to why she is leaving the position of CRM then you would know that she has been in this position for 7 years and has done more much than what a normal CRM does.

Ish. The password is stored in plaintext in the shortcut properties. But if you're the only one who uses your pc, then yeah, it's "safe".

What amuses me is the dozens of people standing in the ring of animals letting of hundreds of fireworks etc. Wait 12 hours and get twice the reward...

Maybe it's not so much that people don't know. Maybe it's more that a lot of people don't care. I sure as heck don't care about this week's "event".

i read both the logon and their website plus spend too much time reading here. i do the password thingy too but logon just to read it at times through a different shortcut so i can read it at least twice a week

Even if you bypass the login you shuld know that you can get all the info in the home page.

The way I see it, yes there are some people who just want to play. But it still helps to do a little bit of reading on things like events (such as Wintersday, Halloween, this Farewell party, etc). That way you know what's going on and you know ahead of time whether or not you want to participate.
