Zaishen Elite Question

Ok i was just wondering since i havent trapped this place in a while for faction until recently this week ummm if i start it and get 5k faction ( the limit i think is 6k ) can i quit and start it up again and get another 5k if thats possible ? or once i start it again once i get that missing 1k to equal 6k faction would they stop the faction income for me ?

The maximum is 6K. Each consecutive victory(after the second, I think) in Zaishen Elite raises the cap past the normal 2K Faction cap from the Zaishen or NPC arenas. So after 5 consecutive victories, your cap would be raised to 5K. If you quit or died after 5K, you would have to win 5 consecutive rounds before you gain more Faction, up to the 6K cap.

If you manage a flawless victory each time, it requires sixteen rounds to reach the cap. I used a trapper and three SF heroes (boring, I know), and a full cycle generally lasted under 25 minutes. The most difficult group to deal with is the earth eles; everything else is a walk in the park.

Doubtful. Cap serves the purpose of limiting how much easy(and I mean very easy) faction one can get in a day, especially now that there are z-keys to spend faction on. And while doubling it isn't game breaking, there isn't a need to do so either.

On the official GuildWiki it says differently, but it's still unclear as to how the Balthazar gain precisely works.

Yesterday, my girlfriend and I did a trapper/spirit spammer rit/2 nuker heroes run for the usual 6k faction in the Zaishen elite. A couple of questions arose:

1: when you start with the normal zaishen challenge, which has a 2k cap, and you stop before you reach the full 2k (7 times flawless = 7x270 = 1890 faction), and go to the zaishen elite afterwards, you WILL get faction right away in the first round, but ONLY up to 2k (i.e. you get +110 faction in the 1st round). This would mean the first round will not give you faction over 2k (so the unofficial wiki is wrong there, you DO gain faction in the first round, just not over 2k if you already had faction from the normal challenge).

2: I'm not sure how the faction cap behaves per round. It would seem like the first round will not raise your daily gained faction over 2k. that much is clear. But I do not know for sure how much you can then gain per round. We tried doing the elite, and when we got to about 5000+ gained faction, we got disconnected and had to restart. It took us 5 or 6 rounds (I think it was 6) before we got faction again.

3: When we started a new run this morning, my gf gained faction, but I did not. This was very strange, as we both hadn't done the challenge or anything else to gain faction since we both did the challenge the day before. So why did she gain faction, and not I? Later that day, when I did gain faction, we could both finish it. It seems the reset clock is a bit bugged...

So there are a few vagueries on the zaishen elite topic. I hope someone has clear answers.
