Okay so it says on the Guild Wars website that every three hours, The Frog will show up and there will probably be dancing, conga lines, etc. But I've been on for two hours (and I know the times for the every three hour events because I've played for nearly two years, so I know the time frame) and all that's happened is The Rabbit spamming to get festival items.
So my question is, is this party only going to be for obtaining fireworks and things like that to get Party Animal points? Which, by the way, didn't work because I shot off fireworks and they only gave me one point instead of two.

Yeah, I think the general idea is for you to be collecting items before the event starts, then use them when it does.
I noticed there's no decorations either, but no biggie, less lag.

I am absolutely amazed at how many people dont know how to read. The event starts at noon pst today, so not for another 1:15. Then it repeats every three hours after that. It's all there in the news on gw.com, you just need to read.

When you emote correctly you'll get some Party stuff (1 of each). During the entire time the Frog is present you'll get double party points.
First time I've seen the frog appear is 7h48mins ago.

15 minutes tops. And the party effect is gone as soon as he leaves the scene, so you better start clicking as soon as you got the Party Time buff on you.

they should have a countdown in game - ideally in the announcements that pop up frequently, this would remove all confusion about when anything is gonna start!

Its disappointing how many idiots these festivals bring out. Most folks just want to have fun while there are others spamming the districts with abuse, fake 'prizes', etc.

Ok, small glitch, and it appears that the party team -- Rabbit and Frog -- decided on their own volition to have a bonus party in the middle of the night, US time. Ah well, hope you enjoyed! The parties have started now, and will take place every three hours until Noon Pacific on Monday. The next, as I post this, is in 2.5 hours.

Also, really professional from a company which seemingly want us to buy their next game. Maybe I should start hanging up on my customers who have support contracts, see if they renew next year.... because that'll work so well.

welll that explains why I lagged out of arachini's haunt----guess I will leave that stuff until after this event is over.

The Lag was terrible for just about everyone, My GL had done the emotes and the items didnt show up in his inventory until 5 minutes later when he could finaly move. All it gives you are about 20 party points worth of items, and then it stops. Nothing fancy, purely a party point farm. So much for hoping for a frog hat or frog mini, or even a Gaile Statue at that.
