Avoid Comabt and Power Drain / Ether Feast

Will a hero use spells like power drain and ether feast if he is set to avoid combat? Power drain and ether feast target enemies but they are not really offensive in my opinion. So what's considered combat? Thanks in advance.

Nope. The hero won't target enemies if it's set to Avoid Combat.

avoid combat is really only useful for monk and rit spirit spammer heros, then they generally stay in the back and don't try to tankl=/
