For Gash, is the attack damage applied first or is deep wound?
Sir Tidus
When you use gash, is the attack damage applied first or is deep wound applied first? This is important because deep wound by itself can't actually kill a foe. So for example, say a foe has 50/500 health, and I used gash on it, the attack itself does 40 damage and he suffers a deep wound. Will this be a fatal blow to that foe? Or will I have to attack it again to kill it? Thanks a lot.

I'm pretty sure that, in your example, he would have 1hp left. Could be wrong though.

yeah the damage must go first, or they would die from it.
they always get away with 1hp, wouldnt be possible if damage wound came first, if they havent got endless luck ofc.

Ya you do the dmg which gives a deep wound. Like with a real sword. You have to cut someone for them to have a "deep wound"

Remember though that Gash has to hit a bleeding foe. Even if you gash them and bring them down to 1 health they'll die from the bleeding.
