Does Monster AI Know When You Are Using a Blocking Stance

Monster AI can tell which player has higher armor and which player has lower armor, and they will more likely attack players with lower armor. The question is, what about blocking stances? Will monster AI know if I'm using a blocking stance and thus try to break aggro? Thanks in advance.

From my experience, monsters don't bother with blocking stances. They'll keep attacking if you have one up.

They might know, but they won't break aggro because of it.

Thanks a lot. Monster AI's real dumb. I wish that in HM the monsters aren't more physically powerful, they should be smarter instead.

Heroes are only as smart as the person using them.
