Just wondering if anyone actually has and why, and how they got back on track?
So, have you?
Do you know anyone who has?
(I don't mean hacking btw).
Has anyone ever wiped their account and started fresh again?

I deleted a level 20 Assassin with Ancient armour, a level 20 Necromancer with elite Cabal armour, and a level 20 Elementalist with standard Ascalon armour, with all camapaigns completed across them all, pretty much most skills unlocked across all of them and a nice variety of weapons, about a good years work considering I'm a casual player.
Now I just mainly focus on one character only, my Assassin Selket Shadowdancer, for title hunting and armour etc. I'd rather give one character the true love it deserves than spread the love (and wealth) across a few. At first I regretted it, but now when I consider some of the things I've achieved with Selket I'm really glad I did it.

Lol i have been playing for 33 months and i do shit like this all the time, but i would NEVER delete my entire account. But just yesterday i deleted my 55 monk because i really didn't need him for i have a necro that can 55. In place of that monk i made a rit, now i don't want to level him
, even though it's easy as pie

I've never done it completely. My monk weathers all toon-holocausts. Most recently I killed everything except my monk, the warrior I play with my husband, and my paragon. My monk has done everything and my para is getting rushed through all the campaigns so that my guild has access to a second SY spammer for HM.
I did it not for a fresh start but to make things simpler. I hated looking at my 10 characters and seeing all the future plods through all the campaigns. Now instead of treading the same paths in PvE over and over again I can dabble in PvP.

i've remade characters when i got bored but never the whole account, i have a second account which i dabble in afresh but mostly i dont have the time for a whipe - as exciting as it would be. Besides i would kind of feel i was trying to recapture that new to guild wars experience which wouldnt work as i know the game too well :P

A few months before Factions came out I was getting bored with GW so I found nice guild and "donated" ALL of my stuff; gold, weapons, materials, runes, mods.....EVERYTHING. Every once-in-a-while I do the same (without deleting the characters).
I deleted all of my characters (I wasn't going to play again and they take up space in the servers) and logged off for the "last time".
I have three main characters, three mules, and two spaces where I create/delete characters on a whim.
Sometimes it's more fun to start over than it is to have everything.
