Has anyone ever wiped their account and started fresh again?
laylife0890
Just wondering if anyone actually has and why, and how they got back on track?
So, have you?
Do you know anyone who has?
(I don't mean hacking btw).

Do you mean deleting every char you have ? I don't see why you would, if you had one you didn't like you would just delete that one............so to answer your question no I haven't and no I don't

Its called account reroll, if I know well Malice Black did the same, ask him ^^
Sentinel of Dark
I deleted all my chars to create pvp chars because i thought pve sucked. Now i regret it.
Antheus
Many people who got "hacked" did it. Not by choice though....

Make sure you're certain before you do it. I done it because I was seriously bored and wanted a new challenge. I dropped from being ub3r rich to having 0g.
Unreal Havoc
I deleted a level 20 Assassin with Ancient armour, a level 20 Necromancer with elite Cabal armour, and a level 20 Elementalist with standard Ascalon armour, with all camapaigns completed across them all, pretty much most skills unlocked across all of them and a nice variety of weapons, about a good years work considering I'm a casual player.
Now I just mainly focus on one character only, my Assassin Selket Shadowdancer, for title hunting and armour etc. I'd rather give one character the true love it deserves than spread the love (and wealth) across a few. At first I regretted it, but now when I consider some of the things I've achieved with Selket I'm really glad I did it.

I deleted my lvl 20 Warrior, my 1st char, I was close to quitting because I thought the game was too hard, then I found out about henchmen. El Noobo
Prolly still would've deleted my Warrior, even after the henchmen awakening, not as much fun as some other classes imho

Lol i have been playing for 33 months and i do shit like this all the time, but i would NEVER delete my entire account. But just yesterday i deleted my 55 monk because i really didn't need him for i have a necro that can 55. In place of that monk i made a rit, now i don't want to level him
, even though it's easy as pie

Earth
I've done this... like 3 times or something. Just ask my guildies
I'm easily bored.

I'm easily bored.
Commander Ryker
The only ones I ever deleted was pvp toons. Otherwise I've kept every single one that I've ever made, even the mules. Why? For the mini's!
miskav
I've done it once, complete account wipe (Seeing as I thought I'd quit :P) But this was in 2005 so o.o.
creelie
I've never done it completely. My monk weathers all toon-holocausts. Most recently I killed everything except my monk, the warrior I play with my husband, and my paragon. My monk has done everything and my para is getting rushed through all the campaigns so that my guild has access to a second SY spammer for HM.
I did it not for a fresh start but to make things simpler. I hated looking at my 10 characters and seeing all the future plods through all the campaigns. Now instead of treading the same paths in PvE over and over again I can dabble in PvP.

i've remade characters when i got bored but never the whole account, i have a second account which i dabble in afresh but mostly i dont have the time for a whipe - as exciting as it would be. Besides i would kind of feel i was trying to recapture that new to guild wars experience which wouldnt work as i know the game too well :P
Prof Of Black
Deleted some characters with 15k armour (rit and nec and another one I cant remember). Thats all. I have never and will never reroll my account

A few months before Factions came out I was getting bored with GW so I found nice guild and "donated" ALL of my stuff; gold, weapons, materials, runes, mods.....EVERYTHING. Every once-in-a-while I do the same (without deleting the characters).
I deleted all of my characters (I wasn't going to play again and they take up space in the servers) and logged off for the "last time".
I have three main characters, three mules, and two spaces where I create/delete characters on a whim.
Sometimes it's more fun to start over than it is to have everything.

Jumping Is Uselss
I've deleted most of my chars in my account one time, but i'd never go as far as deleting my main even though he looks like a troll.
Abedeus
My friend gave away all his items to his guild (us xd) and started again. He was bored... But it didn't renew his zeal as he wanted.
Painbringer

I've never really had to do an account reroll. I've gone from being ub3r rich to disgustingly poor (i.e. stacks of ectos right down to -0g [borrowed money]). I'm usually a 1-character player, so all my time is invested in that character. I could easily delete my other characters, with at maximum, feeling a slight loss. If I wanted to title hunt all over again, and make all my money back, I could. Last weekend I hit 0g in the bank, and I'm already at 100k again (not including the money I spent, which was over a couple hundred k).
I think the only reason I won't delete my main character is because she's not a Survivor, so gettign r6 KoaBD means I have to either get: kurzick, treasure hunter, or wisdom. That's a huge time investment. I'm not really afraid of losing the investment in her, but rather, I just want to complete my investment before I erase her, otherwise I'll feel like I quit before I finished.
