Not about the game, but the Skill Unlock Packs in the store.

What exactly do they unlock for PVE?

I've read the description of the packs, but my brain isn't sorting it out real well.

Well.. your PvE Heroes will be able to use those skills too. Not much else PvE-wise.

They just allow you to unlock skills that you wouldn't be able to access unless you brought the expansion related to those skills. Basically its a cheaper way of unlocking the skills.
