Adding Keys!!

OK! this is for a friend, but im sure others would like to know too.

When i first bought Guild Wars from the Amazon.CO.UK...uk.! i installed and ran the game etc... a year or so later, i bought Factions and Nightfall from ebay.COM...US meaning 1 EU Keys and 2 US Keys?

The thing im thinking about is... when i first started GW i was placed in the US servers even though im from the UK. so is it a possibility that amazon sent me a US key? or i possibly chose to join the US servers by mistake?


anyway... heres the actual question... i have a friend who has a US acct of prophecies only. and knows a site that sell keys alone for factions, nf and gwen. but the problem is. these keys are stated as EU keys. will they still add to US accounts, as i believe i added 2 US keys to my UK account.

i don't think it matters where you buy the game, it places you at your location, so if someone was to buy a game from europe and put the key in at korea they would be placed in the korean server, i think.

Edit: i bought two of my games from a uk site, and 2 from a us site, so i think im right

I know this might sound daft but why does it matter? You can change what districts you go now anyway as and when you please. Unless I'm missing something (which is likely)

I bought a key off the plaync site, whilst I live in England and added so I don't think it really matters

i just figured, why sell US and EU keys if they all work? just need it clearing up that both keys work with whatever, US or EU you are. i dont want to tell him to go buy a certain type of key and it not work... waste of money.

I think all keys work.

If you have a EU account, you can add other region keys to it, and it'll still be EU... at least, that's my understanding.
