Been a happy user of Paypal for like 5 or 6 years now. Or in the very least, offer Google Checkout, as a third option.
Something nice to add for Guild Wars 2.

Whilst convinient I agree, I doubt it would get added. As I understand, it is expensive to have, because of course you have to give a percentage of the purchase to paypal aka ebay which is a higher charge than given to mastercard/visa/amexpress etc. For small timers, not a problem. For lots of transactions can become expensive, mind you others do!

Paypal is an evil, evil company. I wouldn't deal with them if I were ANet.

I very much doubt that ANet will ever get involved with paypal. As a long-time eBay seller, let me explain. ebay own paypal. If someone buys something with paypal, and they decide they don't want it after receiving it, they can contact paypal and say they haven't received the item. Paypal then returns the money from the seller to the buyer (no questions asked).....and can block the bank account of the seller. It is then up to the seller to prove that the buyer did receive the item. Paypal doesn't accept recorded delivery (even with signatures), as proof of delivery. ebay has now forced all sellers to offer paypal on all items, and as a result, the number of sellers using the site has dropped dramatically (I've even stopped using it).
The point.....ANet won't want paypal shutting down its accounts because a load of kids buy its products and then say they haven't recieved it. I'm glad they have nothing to do with paypal.

Half-life and Source game developer started it for Steam (they program use to run and give news about games) said explosive growth in popularity in the first week of allowing Paypal on their online store.
