Hey again everyone.
I've been playing around with my Assassin since my post about vampiric builds, and began to farm with her.
I've been using a Shadow form build, combined with Fire attunement, Glyph of Sacrafice, Meteor Shower, Bed of Coals, Lava Font, Flame Djins Haste, and Inferno.
I've been using this successfully against the vermin in Normal mode for about a week now, but only 2 celestial items have dropped and neither max.
Before anyone asks, I want to farm this because I'd like a celestial staff
I've tryed the build in Hard mode, but it just doesnt cut it, my thoughts are that it requires more attributes invested in Fire Magic so that it increases over 12, but as Elementalist isnt my primary I can't do that. I figure that with the obvious increase in enemy level due to Hard mode, the more likely I will gain a Max damage Celestial item.
Does anyone have a solo farming build for the Vermin located in Xaquang Skyway?
Thank you for your time again guys!
Vermin?

I don't have a specific build for this but Glyph of Elemental Power can be used to push your elemental attributes over 12. That may help?

Yeah, I've been using that recently, with the Raptor farming etc. but I had never thought of trying in my current build I'll give it a go
Thanks for your input

A better farm for celestials would be Nahpui Quarter(mission), if you are going NM. You gotta do HM in Xaquang and hit the chests if you want a good rate for celestials. Those staffs drop pretty regular in the mission.

Perma-Shadow with Channeling and Empathy. GG Vermin.
Oh, and turn on HM for this one.
Oh, and you can chest run HM Nahpui Quarter mission with it too.

I managed to get the celestial staff while helping a guild member today in Naphui, so I suppose I no longer need a build. But I will use the advise here to farm a few more for my other chars

Is a cookie cutter build, to be honest, but works extremely well against the vermin in hard mode.
The down side to it is that you can only kill about 2 vermin or the vermin boss per attack and there is a few seconds wait time between attacks.
(Be sure to cast empathy before beginning your dagger attacks and set the start point for shadow of haste far enough away from the vermin that you don't get caught by them when echoed shadow form ends but close enough you don't waste time getting to them in the first place - also be sure shadow form has fully cast before hitting shadow of haste - soh is a non-spell immediate cast and will end arcane echo early otherwise)
However, because it is melee style instead of aoe, you will get a drop from almost every vermin you kill increasing your chances for a celestial. (don't forget those vermin hides can be turned in for id kits at the end just past the entrance in Budeck Byway which saves a lot of cash in the long run)
