Well, last few months all i do is playing deep over and over again. What really gets me angry is the Scorpion Effect in chamber 5 or 6. The explanation of the effect is that its only 1 per 30 seconds you get teleported to the closest enemy.
But i doubt the explanation of the effect is correct. We're getting constantly teleported instead of once every 30 secs.
Is this a bug or something?

Anet keep changing the deep because stupid people like us keep making their attempts to slow us down worthless.
I expect it was a bug at first, and as people got good at the deep and the average run became 50 mins, they decided to leave it. It is meant to be an ELITE mission after all.
Problem is the longer your there for, the more frequent the teleports are it seems, so teams that are troubled by it's effect have even more trouble as it becomes more out of control.

I dont mind it its a bit difficult. But when your getting teleported back and for everytime you try to run away from the group it's getting a bit frustrated. I play monk so it's almost impossible to heal the rest of the party.
Also when playing pugs the "noobs" who getting teleported often lure a second and third group. Instead of just running back the make a another way which results often in a party wipe.
These days you see more and more people down there that never played deep before and then when the party dies by their fault they just blame the monks for not doing a good job.

30 seconds seems about right to me, done the Deep many times.
However.
There is occasionally a bug where the Kanaxai effects are going off nearly constantly, instead of their stated times. This is most noticeable on the one the saps energy. Anyone know if that's still the case?

It always seemed to me that the effects worked they way they should.
Next time I'm in the Deep I'll keep a better eye out.

Definitely seems bugged. If you go out of the aspect and come back in though, it seems to reset it, meaning it will go back to working like it is supposed to for a little while until it speeds up again. I agree that it's annoying though.

When you do the same thing over and over again it won't be elite anymore. All I have to add is that it's a bug and so it must be fixed otherwise I'd say rename the description and problem solved.

haha the deep is brutal for its difficulty.... i remember farming it when factions came out.... it really made us all say WTF....

You can reset it when walking on that platform thing(where onis spawn). Let 1 tank lure all onis, Deep Freeze them, kill 'em and then move on. Keep going straight(not on the right anymore), let the tanks Death Charge in those mobs one by one. Get to kana whom you can kill or just cripple with YMLaD and move on.
But the main thing is that you can reset the aspect on that platform I mentioned and also on the far right hand side where that fire flower is placed.

It has nothing to do with that being elite area. IMO, the skill/aspect is either bugged or poorly worded.
The timing on that effect is not even same each time. Its more like in 5..40 sec range. The other possible theory is that its linked per enemy. Each of enemies has a timer of their own that is used each 30 sec on one of the party members. But thats just a theory - a lot of testing would be needed to give it any weight.

Well, first i had the same thought about it was calculated per enemie. But even when only the Kanaxai Aspect is left, you still get teleported to him every few secs.
