Hero Battles Concept

Okay, seriously. I talked with a few people as of late, and we discussed the concept of Hero Battles. We came to an agreement that Hero Battles is no longer about battling. If you can hold all 4 shrines and not die with defensive skills, you can win without dishing out 1 point of damage. This is absolutely absurd. I propose that the shrines have VERY little effect or just remove them completely. We said we wanted it to be something like TA/RA, where you have to depend on micro-management and hero AI in order to win. If you have no advantages other than what builds you and your heroes carry, that deploys the actual concept of Hero Battles. This is all I have to say.

If 4 monks with no smitting skills can beat a team composed entirely for paragons, dervishes and ritualists, there's a problem there.

it's not a "new" concept, but it's way better than our current hero defender. /sign, and, you should post this on the hero battles forum at gladiator's arena

The problem isn't the concept, the problem is PvX Wiki. Hero Battles has been lame ever since they added all the account stuff. No one uses anything but PvX shit in there now.
