Depends. Sometimes I actually just try playing the game (I hate to say it, but farming probably killed the fun factor in some ways, I got really caught up in getting more loot and more shiny things, and that just became grind sadly). I started taking my Rit all the way through Factions, and I'm having a blast just playing and not trying to farm for anything. I think that I am taking a stance of only playing for fun now.
But mostly, when I started to feel like I got everything I wanted out of GW (I have no real desire for titles or anything), I started playing another game. Played lots of Mass Effect and started playing Tabula Rasa. Or I work on my novel or I clean my house or I do my homework (ew I'm 30 and I have homework) or I go to the gym... I mean, I guess when I'm bored of GW, I'm just bored of GW, and I do something else.

I never play games when I'm bored. Better to just work or something. I want to have fun when in GW, thus if I'm feeling bored I'll do something decidedly boring.

I'm the kind of person that gets bored very easily of repeating the same things. I'll become obsessed with something for a little while, then go completely off it. Thing with GW though, I've never really gone completely off it.
There was the time I had WoW steal my life for a short time, but I came back to GW and will never leave for another game that's only aim is to take your money for as long as possible. There seems to be a fair few out there
I generally only play GW for a few hours in the evening, so the likelihood of getting bored is reduced, especially when I have so many characters and have lots of different things I could do on each one of them.
Sometimes if I'm on a GW kick (a streak of obsessiveness) I'll play a bit through the day. But that happens rarely these days, so I do other things, like work/write, play something else, do the stuff around the house I'm meant to be doing. Now the weathers getting better I'll actually venture outside
If I just want to hop on in the evening and can't really think of anything I want to do, I'll sit in a town or the guild hall and chat to guildies. Or AB, or farm a little. Trawl the interwebs. At the moment I've decided it's time to go get the cartography titles on my main, as she's at 9 max titles, so those few more will give me lots of frustrating stuff to do...lol There's always something I can find to do that'll keep me occupied.
