Need for a Begineers forum area (NOOB VILLE)

I have been on many sites in my 45 years as a games, but I have never seen one, so desperate for one as here.

Why is there no "NOOB", "BEGINNERS", "GW FOR DUMMIES" dedicated section ?

I have been playing the game for several months now, and have tons of beginner questions. I also have no clue in understanding all these acronyms and #'s floating around here.

A beginners area, would allow, slower developing, players like me, have my noob questions answered, and maybe also find, noob level explainations of the various aspects of the game.

It would also keep the noobs out of your "PRO" areas. MOst folks don't seem to want to answer many of the noob questions in those other areas anyway.

So how about it ?

Um, we do, and always have had one. We have new players and veteran players who post in our Q&A section. People who will answer your questions. I'm not sure how we could possibly make it more obvious, considering it's the first forum you see on the list.

Problem is many 'veterans' flame the newbs for asking questions. Granted not all the newbies use the search first.

So how about it ? Wow, what kind of mean web sites have you been on that called new people "NOOB", "BEGINNERS", "{fill in the blank} FOR DUMMIES" That's just wrong. We here at guru try to be nicer to new players and not call them names.

Q&A is by far the most friendly and easiest way to get your Guild Wars questions answered. The vast majority of posts in Q&A are answered quickly or provide links to the information people seek.
