Hey all, basically I'm still a little fuzzy about the impact the HoM has on GW2, and I know we don't know very much about it either; but my main question is:
Can money be transferred in the HoM to GW2 (do we reckon)?

I don't thnk gold can be transferred, there's been no mention of it, and, supposedly, HoM won't give you an advantage over others in the game (other than maybe nice skins).

uh well from what i know (or atleast think i do 
), guild wars 2 will be a clean new slate, aside from the fact that the hall of monuments will be left there to commemorate all your achievements from guild wars 1, so it doesn't seem like a waste.

Sure it will bring surten things to your character, special things, but what? is the question.
I don't think that money can be transfered from GW to GW2, like people says here, it will be a whole new chapter and characters (children of your heros/characters)
Mabye it will be a feature once you character reaches Max lvl or something like that, just so that a low lvl char don't get the best armor and weapons at start mabye. All we can do is to speculate.

i do believe somewhere gaile stated that money will NOT be transferred over. don't take me for certain on this, i am just going off of memory.

Though a lot aspects of the HoM-GW2 link is still speculated, it is certain gold will not carry over to GW2.

I believe at one point Gaile compared the HoM to the 1st year wintersday items, saying that it will mainly be a way for you to say "Hey I was here way back when." Can't remember where I read that so I'm not 100% sure it really was her.

by adding things to the HoM, you will gain special unlocks unattainable anywhere else by linking your accounts

Well, I knew about the titles unlocking things in GW2 (things that wouldn't give you an upperhand), but my main query was the Gold.
