Tahannakai Temple Mission
Apharot
Hey. Can anyone give me some hints on this? I seem to be having some problems getting to the end. I fly through the first spirit or two, then I slow down as the mobs will come to you I've found. However, I keep having problems with number 7. Is there a secret to it that I'm missing? I generally wait, if nothing comes, I go get one to chase me with his friends and run back to my party, but for some reason I am having issues not dying. Any hints on this mission? Thanks.

What campaigns do you have? What class are you using? Is this NM or HM? =\

I have all the campaigns, and I am using an Assassin/Ranger with a level 20 tiger. This is also on NM.

I use the 3 necro-heroes for this, I just semi-afk it and let the henchies do all the work. But, just adding an MM hero should make this mission much easier.

I started this char in Factions. So I should hop out to NF, get my heros and come back then?

Cool. I work nights, and getting ready to head in now. I work in a data center and things are generally slow, so I'll be getting my heros tonight

That is an option. If you don't want to take that route, I can probably help you with it if you want.

I'll be ok, no need for me to hassle anyone else. Besides, I'm so henchie/hero oriented, I don't know how I'd do in a group with a person lol :P

also if you have GWEN, pain inverter works wonders on the guardian elementalist things. also if you hop over to GWEN to get heroes, they are already level 20 so you don't have to level them at all.
Ghostcell
get heroes as soon as you can, you won't need to bother getting them runes or insignias for NM.
also, make sure you have a bow (pref. longbow) and pull the guardians.

What class gets that?
Thanks for all the help guys. I generally try to figure this out on my own without bothering anyone else, but this one had me stumped good. kev read
1) Pain Inverter is a PvE skill, so any class can get it... you just have to do the quest: http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/The_Cipher_of_Kormir (make sure you do the prerequisite quests)
2) On your Assassin you should be using almost exclusively Assassin skills (maybe an increase attack speed from another prof). A pet is usually a waste of skill slots, as I am guessing that you have little to no points in Beast Mastery, so your pet will be doing very littly damage, will make your skills recharge for quite a while when your pet dies, etc... 3) If you are having trouple then guildwars.wikia.com + www.guildwarsguru.com (the forums part) is your friend. I have found that trying to figure something out on my own is no fun... P.S. Only use your longbow for pulling (shoot a foe once, back off to make that foe follow you, switch to your daggers, go kill stuff). This is to ensure that your party only fights one group at a time (very useful with monk henchies). Apharot

Hey guys, I almost forgot to thank you for the help. I got through it on the second try with heros. Friggin Koss taking off and getting jumped and the rest of us killed..I took him out and put Melonni in and flew through it.

I have done this with various characters. A Minion Master is a must to body block and apply pressure on the mobs. Kill the temple guardians first as their AoE spells cause trouble - if you leave them to run around they will wipe your party.
This mission was the easiest and most fun using a W/D build with a scythe, Olias, and 2 Ele heros. One of the few times where I would rush the mobs, bunch them up, and let loose with the scythe. kazjun
Two searing flames and a MM will help you through pretty much all of factions, since mobs come in such bunches. For this mission especially, use the long bow to pull. Togo and mhenlo follow you so if you're H/H, and melee, they'll end up on the frontline and at risk. Use a long bow to pull as well as to keep the two baldies at the back where they belong.
