Yep, you can.

Yes you can
Your gw client got removed, but not your account(which is stored on gw servers)

You cna install the whole game and you will haev all items characters and weapons as you left them last time, as this is all stored on Anets computers.
What you will not have though im afraid is your friendslist and your templates for items or Skills

Yes just reinstall.. no need to re-enter keys.. about the only thing you really lose are any saved build templates.. You just have a bunch of downloading to look forward to....

Yep when I bought a new comp to play UT3, all I did was reinstall GW, the game is still installed on old comp too, I think it's all about your keys.
Ps. Just for the record, GW gets much more playtime than UT3

If you purchased a second account, you would have just that, a second account. If you go to the GW web site, you can download a new client, no need to buy it. That's all you're getting on the disc anyway (and a new key).

Just install and log in!! No need to acount keys.. the keys can only be used once!! I u want to add another campaign u can add the keys to the existing acount. Even if you got to campaigns it is enough to only install 1 since the entire game will be updated automaticly "login screen" or as you enter new areas on the new computer.
SNIEVES
so basically, your saying the client will find my original account on the gw server buy just typing my originial login name and password form the original account, right?

yes..............

When you buy the game you pay for the account not the client (game software).
You can use either your disks or the downloadable client to install the game on any number of machines you like at no extra cost.
This allows you to visit a friends house for example and play gw on their machine.
As long as you have an accont, no matter what happens to your pc you do not need to buy another copy of the game.
also, if installing from the CD's you only need to use one of them to install all campaigns. the result of installing each CD is the same as installing uaing the downlaodable client. Installing from more than one of the CD's is a waste of time.
To prevent this sort of thing happening in the first place you should realy have seperate accounts for everyone who uses the machine. (preferably non administrator accounts for security).

Think of it like this your computer is a playstation 2 disk. Your memory card is in the building with Arena Net. Now unless ur wife is on a plane to the game server ur "save game" cant be deleted. Feel safe...but heaven help u if she figures out how to delete your carries from the log in screen *grin*
Pesi
download it all from guildwars.com
then log in mate.

You'll have to sit through the long initial load periods again when going from one territory to the next.
One suggestion: Before joining a group to complete a mission, log into the mission and have it load up. I've been in groups where a single character doesn't appear for 1 - 2 minutes because this is their first time in the territory.

The game client has absolutely nothing to do with your account. All it does is let you access the game. The keys are what you use to create an account, and after that you never have to use them again (but keep them in case you need something from the support team).
All you need to do is download the client again and log in as you previously did. Don't need to mess with your old keys.
If you want to create a new account for your son, all you need to do is click on "Create New Account" on the login screen and put in the second set of keys (not the ones you used to create your own account). You do not need to install the game client again.
Hope that clarifies things a bit.

Having this said.. you might realise u can log on to youre account on any gw client xD
Solas
its more or less like your msn program.
you can login on your msn anywhere in the world as long as msn is instailled on that computer. same thing with Guildwars.
once Gw is instailed on a computer you can play GW on that computer providing you have an account.

yes like some of them said, just reinstall GW and use your usual log-in info, your account will always be there
you can actually install GW on any PC you want and use your log-in on any PC with GW installed on it. You just cant log in on more then 1 PC, if you do it simply disconnects the prior log in

Once you reinstall the client, you can force a full download by doing "C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\gw.exe" -image from a run command. It's a LONG download, but it will preinstall all the towns, outposts, areas, etc so you don't have that long load time when you enter a new area for the first time.
street peddler
point: your account is forever stored on the anet servers, just redownload the client from the website.
