dont fall for this picture, notice in the drops "shield of the lion" this does NOT drop in Eotn, only nigthfall.
It looks very much like this person has killed that boss, but brought some extra drops with them, and dropped them randomly to look as if it is loot obtained from a farming run.
No text on the left to prove they were drops, and no party screen either, or mini map, so could have brought additional henchman/heros/players.
looks nice, but id question its legitimacy.

I dunno about if drop SS of OP is a fake but the run can be done.
I tried it with my ele and it's ok. Its a long run, not so profitable (imo) but if tomes drop is good you can get a lot (you know, almost never :P).
Still like raptor farm / vaettir to get some tomes + gold.
And that boss only spawns if ya kill all the fu... imps so... you have to spend time on that.
I suppose it's between 10-20 mins.. Didnt look at that when i farmed there.

FYI that's my farming video that unknown referenced. It's not a bad farm, in fact, if your sole purpose for farming is ele tomes (both elite and normal) then its the best spot i've ever seen.
It is a somewhat slow run, but i've done it in about 10 minutes including boss. That video was me testing the very first build i came up with for the very first time. His build does look like an improvement, but I will say I've never had THAT many golds drop from a single run. (i usually get about 3 or 4).
So the build and run is legitimate, but the drops look a little bit exaggerated (NOT by much tho).

I've never tried farming but it looks like I could put that build together. I really like fire but have plenty of earth skills & weaps/off hands.
May I ask the order you cast then re-cast?
After you use the glyph you use the next two skills so they can be recast before they end?
Also can you tell me which skill you echo?

I gave this a try yesterday, but ended up tweaking the build as I took damage which led to my death (had full geomancer armor and 16 earth magic).
And about the drops, you must be one lucky son of a biatch. I cleared everything, and didnt get a single gold nor tomes.
I'm sure this is a great farm for some people, but it sure isnt mine.

Barring 1-2 variants (basically wdh instead of mindbender) this is exactly what was posted here a few weeks ago, I believe in response to "how to get tomes" when someone asked about Ele tomes.
I watched the youtube vid, bought the 1-2 skills I didnt have (ele isnt my primary char) and fired it up.
Yup drops, some nice, some not so, personally cant get to the lake on the right, but lake on the left of Olafstead, np, cleared in 10-15 mins, boss spawned and green captured.
GJ to the poster who got a good drop but really, does it REALLY matter?

Dont get me wrong, id be annoyed if I fired up a build from here or tried an idea or something and it sucked and I didnt get a single thing but from my current experience, people post on here to be helpful to the GW community as a whole. Ive yet to find a build that, barring my own incomptency, I couldnt run succesfully based on whats posted here so why does everyone keep begging for screenshots?
Now discount prices on a sale I could understand ....

Well plenty kudos from me, great build and well thought out. As always theres no accounting for individuals drops but for tomes and what not a great idea and works v.well.

Yea, anything not physically on the lake. (just stick to imps and frozen elementals + imp boss......anything else could cause problems)

Any1 no sumthing that could replace mindbender? or is that for anti interupts? but then again you have OF to deal with that or r there dervs/wars/sins/something that has an interupt on the run?
May sound like a stupid question but still, i dont have mindbender and ive got next to nothing asura rank wise (nrly rank 1!!!! xD) and then finaly on my question extravaganza: would an earth scroll+totem axe cover what the staff does?

thanks for reading and hopefully ansering!! yes you can, although I rather use a 20% longer enchant and HSR 10% one-handed weapon and 20/20 earth scroll. also you can do it with blessed instead of geomancer, but you take bit more dmg, but nothing that would kill you. Personally I use the two skills from the glyph for Obby and Sliver. BTW great post Dr Dimento (I saw your post few weeks back too, but not all people that farm post builds)

This build works great, I had in 1 run 4 golds and 1 scroll to FoW and 2 normal ele tomes
I'll will post a screenshot of a new run later... And to the OP, a Shield of the Lion does drop, I had it aswell (a white 1), so nothing to fake at your picture
