Change to Survivor

I propose that Survivor title be changed, primarily because I, and several people I know, have characters that are too old to get the survivor title, and don't wish to delete and re-create them, however would very much like this title to be attainable. I propose that the title be changed to... Rather than fail completely at death, but start over, essentially.

That way it would re-start tracking of XP, but keep whatever rank you achieved so far, as to not remove any you've gotten. I see no real reason not to do this change, aside from this making it possible to achieve both Legendary defender and Survivor.

In wich case, I propose that legendary defender be changed in some way so that it is impossible to have both at the same time, for fairness's sake. Currently it's impossible to have both, and it should stay that way, to make the game fair. I just don't see why those with characters too old, can't have this title.

I like this idea but then your going to have people complaining that oh now anyone can get legendary survivor cause all you have to do is farm xp till you get that rank rather than having to carefully play, and if you screw up you can just start over. I never understood why defender and survivor were mutually exclusive other than the fact that you have to death level char. I think you should be able to get both because if your good enough to defend Ascalon from the searing you should probably survive it.

/notsigned I didnt' read it and i know what it says. Your char is to old and died before survivor title was in game. BOOOO HOOOOOO This thread has been done to death. Like the picture of the dead horse! No it won't get changed. NO MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE QQ!!!!! Make a new char. Buy a char slot if you don't have a free one and make a char you don't already have. Problem solved!!!!

A angry care bear? bears are new to game... my main char have 32 months old, and i dont want to delete my beloved char and start again...

My suggestion double or triple the requeriments for old chars to get survivor...

My main is 34 months old, and has Lutgardis Conservatory, and has every hero in the game. You could make legendary survivor 10 million exp, and I guarantee I will get it if this was done this way (also a severe case of obesity, among other things), but there is no possible way that I would die doing this. Would require me to do 5,000 visits to melandru's hope (200 sets of 10k faction, originally was going to state 1 billion exp, but I don't think that I can HFFF that much without my hands falling off).

/notsigned the point of survivor is to not die ever thats were the name SURVIVOR comes in

Step 1: Change Survivor to 1,337,500 XP + 500xNumber of Deaths.
Step 2: Change LDoA to a point based system; weak creatures like Moa Birds and stuff give 1 point per kill, strong creatures like Charr give 50 points per kill.
Step 3: Give a title track specific to Canthan and Elonian born characters that must be acheived before leaving the first island.

That'd make me happy, but I know we're never going to get it.

leave the title how it is, if you die your not a survivor nor should you be given a 2nd chance to get it without re-making. its 1 title, i'm sure you can live without getting it if you don't want to re-make.

Each death would double the amount of xp needed (or at least add xxK).

It would be almost impossible after a couple of deaths to achieve r3 survivor. However, it can compensate for lag death.
