It would be cool to see Wagons with people in them riding on Yaks that transport goods from different towns along the roads and more NPCs in towns moving around to make the game actually seem alive

So say there would be these random yak bandwagons that travel from Yaks bend to Lions arch and you could actually follow them outside of town to Lions Arch

They would not only look cool but also help people travel along the road to different areas to show them pathways

If they wanted to make this game alive or lively, then they would have to get rid of instances.... which deviates from the original game concept.

Solange, do you not think that it is a bit late in the game's life for this type of change to be made?

As far as i am concerned anything which would make the GW "world" feel like a living and breathing one is fine by me but I feel this is probably a suggestion which might be better suited to GW2.

More usless ideas. It too late to change somthing that large becuase it would have to get rid of instances.

...and along came the 3 headed hydras, casting down their meteors the wagon, forever leaving lions arch without items or materials

It is a nice idea, but it can't be done in gw1 im afraid.

Maybe for gw2 though.

There are already some 'caravans'.
- The turtle in Pongmei Valley.
- The dwarves in Snake Dance.
- The Vabbian guard around the Bazaar.

In Kryta, they use Oxes, not yaks.
Only dwarves use Dolyaks.

There is only one use I would see for those.

And it's that they would appear randomly in certain areas, and if you protect them through their curse, they offer you rewards like XP, a bit of gold, a discount for the next 1..5 items you purchase from them (counting also items in stacks separately).

They would be random, so if you don't save them when you find them you lose the reward, and if you rezone, you may not find them.

If they are just there, walking around, or dying like the dwarves in Snake Dance, they would be as useless as those.
