It seems I can no longer access my thread. I get the following meesage:

Apparently the present error message being seen while attempting to access the "Ursan Blessing thread" was caused when "Tarun" attempted to reply to my post advising me that my problem was being generated by the skill Sympathetic Visage. Not sure that is correct but so far it's the only one I have seen that might be the cause, however I would expect everyone in the party to be affected and although I don't know that I have never heard any complaints.......Txs all.

The reason your thread isn't being displayed is because GWBBCode lacks the proper error handling. It should be able to display the thread and the error message, but it fails to do so and thus causes the entire thread to break. I also notified Inde about the problem via PM.
As for your answer, it is indeed [[Sympathetic Visage], simply look at the description for it. I've had it happen to me, even when I was not attacking (the minions from the MM were) and caused energy loss to the point Ursan died.

I was going to PM an admin about that same problem, but I thought it was just me. I've been spending the past few minutes checking my firewall, internet options and cache.

I don't doubt your assessment but it still leaves me questions such as, why does it happen all the time? I am sure that when I h/h it no one is using Sympathetic visage and I still suffer the energy drain.

Tarun, I thank you for your interest and help. Yes, I agree your assessment of the Vaettir are more than likely a part of the problem when I am in contact with their skills but they are only a small percentage of the 250 kills needed in a HM run out of Olafstead. Maybe I wasn't to clear but what I am experiencing is a gradual energy drain even during combat to the extent I lose Ursan and end up at the mercy of the mob and not just when in contact with foes who use Sympathetic Visage. I expect the normal skill energy drain (-2) when not actively fighting however it is my understanding that when fighting I should be able to maintain at least a modicum of energy and not reach a zero state. Again many thanks......Ram
