[build box prof=paragon/warrior][Save yourselves][there's nothing to fear][aggressive refrain][for great justice][no skill][no skill][no skill][no skill][/build]
This.
Throw in some offensive stuff too, and maybe Enduring Harmony for FGJ.

I thought the godmode build was a W/P build using Dragon Slash....

It really implies anything that is extremely powerful.
Warrior is mainly using the highest DPS possible, and Paragon is using the 100% maintain of SY via FA and FGJ. And keeping decent DPS.

Paragons are better defensively, not having to deal with kiting and target switching allows them to keep SY! up better; alongside TNTF! they reign supreme at defense.
Warriors allow nore damage and disruption.
Though, I see your point - DSlashers with SY! are 'godmode' whilst the common label for the equivalent Para build is the 'Imbagon'

So, W/P is Godmode and P/W is Imbagon? I, too, have been away and then I've been playing as an Ele nuker and kind of been ignoring my Warrior. How would you distribute the attributes for the W/P and the P/W? I suppose it is intuitive.
Tyla
Warrior is 14 Swordsmanship, 13 Strength.
Paragon is 14 Spear Mastery, 12 Leadership, 7 (Command or Motivation, depending on the shield).
I usually use a req7/15AL shield on my Paragon. They're around 10kish.

Although imbagon is 'godmode' I've still died. I aggroed way to many Angorodons and they all decided to target me :/
Just remember that if you die, your party will most likely follow. If you don't, they won't. Simple, yet important.

Funny thing about the shield!! I probably dumped many of them. I don't even look at non-maxed shields, until now.

Saying ursan > imbagon is like saying monks are better than warriors. Apples to oranges.

Aren't Angorodons the ones that suck a lot of HP? If so, TNTF and SY won't do jack. Aggroing a whole bunch of these = x_x
Richardt
I've noticed TNtF helps agaisnt them, but SY! is like stopping a bullet with tissue paper when it comes to angorodons.

I do that sometimes. It's fine in most NM areas but in some HM areas, it leads me to x_x_x

I was in NM when it happened, but life stealing just sucks. Usually, depending on the groups aggroed, I can aggro 2 or three whole groups of enemies (playing a Imbagon with Sabway heroes :P) without anyone dieing in NM.
How stupid I was to assume I could do the same with Angorodons.

Ursan deals 150 damage every few seconds with a little knockdown. Paragons save the team from a lot more damage in Hard Mode. An Ursan won't be able to aggro all the dredge (by itself) in the first room of Urgoz and win.

FGJ! is for when FA is down. So no, cruel/stunning would not be better.

If there is enough shutdown that I would even consider not using what is arguably the most powerful build in the game I'm bringing a caster instead, not Ursan. Physical shutdown generally means casters, and casters tend to ball up better making AoE just as strong an option as a physical. Shards of Orr as an example has loads of physical shutdown. The best option there is to simply use holy skills since they'll deal double damage and bypass all of that shutdown.
More often than not I will jump through many hoops to make SY spamming possible because the defense and offense of that character is too much to pass up. MasterSasori

Sure if you bring the magic formula of X Ursans + Y Monks = steam roll PvE then you don't need anything else anyway.

You can certainly bring smiter heroes with you into Shards of Orr, but if you are a Spear Paragon the physical shutdowns are still going to affect you one way or another. You can make your smiters bring skills to work around the anti-physical conditions and knockdowns, but it would affect your SY spamming. Anyway I agree with you that Shards of Orr is one of those tougher dungeons that SY/TNTF would be more useful. Dairith

You have to bring caster heroes with the proper skills to help your Imbagon get past them. Div

Would you trust Sab's statement saying that Paraway > Sabway for most cases while running a paragon, or randoms whose opinions carry much less weight? tuna-fish_sushi
Can someone post the current Warrior Godmode Meta
I got Dragon slash, FGJ, Sun and Moon slash, Save yourself so far... DarkSpirit

I trust only what I have experienced on my own.
And I agree that Rac's build DOES have problems in certain areas because I have used it before, both in physical friendly and non-physical friendly areas. And do you even wonder why Rac would admit to switching to a 3-necro hero build in certain Asuran areas? http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...3&postcount=97 http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...&postcount=119 It is a good build, but you should know its limits and weaknesses if you intend to use it effectively.
