non-resumable errors

OK, after playing GW for 10 months, I'm ready to call it quits. The primary reason? I can't take the non-resumable errors (like error 007) any more. I know I am stuck in a country (non-US) where the Internet is bad, but there's no reason for a disconnect to be non-resumable.

This past weekend, I spent hours looking to PUG for some HM dungeons. In almost every case, I got dc'ed (mostly error 007) during the run. Sometimes it's the beginning, but most of the time, just before I finish the dungeon. Talk about hours wasted and feeling frustrated.

I am a software engineer, and I've written plenty of applications dealing with IP disconnects. There are no technical reasons why a client/server connection should be unrecoverable! There could be other reasons why you might not want someone to reconnect, but technologically, you should always be able to reconnect, unless your internet is dead! Fix error 007 please!!!

Some of my firends have been disconnected and when they try to reconnect right away they always fail.

What they have been doing lately, is to wait before trying to reconnect. Open the explorer, browse for a second and then try to reconnect. This has increased the success of reconnection very much. I would say about 9 in 10.

This might work for you. Unless Anet really will allow to conect to a session if you disconnected, or as someone suggested before. if you get an invitation from the group you where in to get back into the group and only if you where in that group before.
