Seems to me that [Symbolic Posture] is an extremely weak skill when compared with [Mantra of Inscriptions].
Both skills cost 10 energy, and both skills have a 20 second recharge. Symbolic Posture recharged the next signet only, and recharges it marginally faster than Mantra of Inscriptions, which works on all signets.
Has anyone found a use for this skill? The only use I can think of is if you wanted to recharge one signet which was key to your build, and didn't want to invest in Inspiration Magic. Personally, I feel this skill requires a slight buff. It's in a Primary Attribute, so it's useless to non-Mesmers as it is. Perhaps if the energy cost was dropped to 5, and the recharge of the skill reduced to 12 or 15?

Recharging keystone signet on a signet bar maybe?
The other reason might be if you have one signet which has a disparate recharge time. There was a me/a build around that had a combos similar to [signet of midnight][iron palm][entangling asp][signet of shadows]and [signet of toxic shock]. In this case you have SoS at 30s and the rest at 10&15s so decreasing the recharge of SoS would result in your combo being ready more often than if you reduced the recharge of all signets on your bar.

You left out [Mantra of Signets].
SP is just a variation of that. Looking at the stats/attribute - you can see it's balanced.
But as we all know - a skill being balanced never implied it was good.

Ohh never saw that build.
Btw - can anyone test if [Sneak Attack] works with ANY kind of weapon?
Since that would free us the elite slot for AP which would enable continuous spam of the combo.

More than anything, it was the energy cost of the skill I have the greatest problem with. 10-energy seems a lot to have something recharge marginally quicker than Mantra of Inscriptions, and then to have it only work on the next signet.
I had considered Keystone Signet as a use, but due to Keystone's recent buff, it seems disticntly less useful, since it has the same recharge as Keystone Signet. I feel the slight tweak to the skill I proposed would improve the skill's useage for Mesmer signet-based builds.

Well, quite, but Symbolic Posture is so close to MoI in terms of what the skill does. I don't understand why they created Symbolic Posture for Nightfall, knowing full well there was a more useful skill in Inspiration Magic.

Different attribute trees. If you don't spec into inspiration this is useful. Otherwise, meh.
