This is not only about paragon hair... Actually it is.
My example:

ANet, if you're going to make a hair style that destroys peripheral vision, thus threatening survivability... At least make the culprits 3D?
Also, it'd be nice if the two locks actually connected to the scalp at the top, and then went back into the hair at the bottom, instead of floating.

An even simpler fix:
Another hair style, exactly the same, but without the front locks.

Even better fix that involves no one except me:
Texmod, YAY!

Thank you for your time.

Umm. Right.

You're suggesting that ArenaNet changes one of the Paragon Hairstyles?

Give me one good reason why this thread should not be locked...

Because it's a suggestion forum, and I simply made a suggestion.

Ok.

But...it's such a petty little thing. I'm assuming you made a Paragon with this hairstyle and now regret it? Because you don't have peripheral vision? I really don't understand why it's such a big issue.

Also. you solved the problem yourself...Textmod.

I'll add a poll for the lulz.

Hahaha, sweet.
I know it's nothing. But it's 100 times more feasible than most of the other ideas here. :P

hahaha, at least it is not trollable like most of the other ideas here... While we are at it, why not change some other hairstyles too? The male ranger also has such a hairstyle. Have no screenshot of it though, am at work

Oh, and I voted option 3 on the poll

2D hair, now there is a big issue. If it dissappears under water you can solve some of the problem, except you'd be underwater and not moving...

Would you remove the locks in Texmod or what?

Also, why are those locks 2D? Did your Para get born missing a few pixels?

I think you should report it to the Wiki page about errors in models... I don't remember it, but you should be able to search it.

Anyways, it doesn't affect you in first person, so it's not really an issue.
It's just... a floating huge braid mustache that sprouts from his forehead.

Could this possibly get moved to another forum section? It's less of a suggestion than a complaint about a graphics big/glitch/inadequacy.

Um, yeah, really don't care, personally I would rather be able to play my paragon without falling asleep and hitting my head on my desk. Maybe fixing hair would fix this.

You can't make 2D renders 3D with texmod...

The OP is only using the peripheral vision as a joke. He is simply unhappy with how Anet cut corners and reduced the polgyon count of that specific Paragon hair style. Rather than render the bangs as 3D objects they rendered them as 2D. Thus when you angle the camera just right, it appears as if one of the bangs "vanished". Many 2D objects in the GW world are modeled to create the "illusionary" look of 3D. For example ropes, they are simply two flat panels, if you were to view a rope in GW from a vertical perspective it would appear as a +. A criss cross of the two flat textures streaming downward.

No, but with Texmod, I could cut those ridiculous locks out completely.
Also, thank you for understanding!

lol no.

Should have*

Also: There's only 2 or 3 male paragon hair styles that don't collide with the emblem in someway; I chose my favourite of these (which happens to be my favourite of all of them).

peripheral vision...you are aware its a toon..

but if it is a huge problem for your fantasy..why not just get one of the following..

1. Mask of the Mo Zing
2. Dread Mask
3. Bandana

they would be a huge improvement on your chars head..

Nevin's got the idea. Look past tracco's sarcasm and lighten up, maybe?

Whilst I don't have a male paragon (and wouldn't choose that hairstyle ), I guess I do wish they'd iron out all the odd hair glitches. Doubtful though, sorry Patty-cake.

Just go squat in a body of water with him, and fuel your rage at Anet over your characters' see-through head. Heh heh.
