Stuck With 'Model Toy'?

Odd question here. Cleaning out the backpack/bags of an older character and came across the Model Toy (the Grey Giant minipet magazine quest from a few years back)

I don't have the Toy quest showing on my list any longer. I seem to remember not being able to finish the quest, which is why I still have the 'model' and not the actual minipet. There was something about getting it to some toy collector in the Plains.

Anyone got any ideas on how to finish this quest and get the minipet... or do I just chuck the model?

Have you tried to reacquire the quest from Mahk in Kamadan? As long as you entered the key code on your account, the quest should still be valid.

Yeah, I've tried that. Made sure I had the model toy with me, on the character that I got the broken toy with, and Mahk has no quest for me. The key for this quest is on this same account - I don't have different accounts. Just a puzzlement.

Are you using the original character who got the quest? Is Shakon, the Vabbian toy buyer still there. He'd be somewhere outside Kamadan on the Plains of Jarin. I can't think of anything else for you to try. DO NOT trash the Model Toy. You cannot get the Broken Toy again, just once per account.

I think you need a Nightfall character to get the quest.

Ryker is correct. Your character has to be Elonan.

That is not correct. You do not have to be Elonian to get the quest. I did it with my Ascalon born warrior.

What seems to be the case is that I'm not picking up the second part of the quest. I got the broken toy...got the stuffs that turned the broken toy into the model toy.

After that, looks like I need to take the model toy to the Vabbian toy collector out in Jahrin(sp?) Plains. I've run around out there several times, but can't find the Vabbian but also Mahk doesn't give me the second part of the quest, so perhaps the Vabbian only shows up if I've actually got the quest and not just the model toy.

Check your various characters and see if one has the Quest - it would be the one who first talked to Mahk. I think only one character per account can get the quest.
