What Ieas Beneath

I am trying to get the quest "What Lies Beneath" from Lions Arch so I can get to the Far Shiverpeaks. I have Eye of the North, game of the year edition. I am level 20, and Ascended. However, it won't offer me the quest. Any suggestions.

Did you add the EotN CD Key to your account?

If so, did you talk to Len Caldoron in Lions Arch?


If you did all of that, then it should work.

I did. He gives me a story about a quake and thats it. He doesn't offer a quest. I found the crevasse, but I can't do anything with it.

Hmmm.... I think if you are seeing the crevasse, then you have met all of the requirements to actually start the EotN missions. Try clicking on the crevasse- it should pop a dialog box that asks if you want to enter it.

I have clicked on it......and it does nothing. It's like I am missing something that would let me advance. But I don't know what that could be.

If possible, could post screenshots? It may help us figure out what the problem is.

Tell me how to do that and I will. I appreciate the help.

Hit print screen.
Crop it in an image editor (the screens are found in the Guild Wars folder Screenie folder).
Go to ImageShack, upload the image.
Go Advanced here, attach image using the image tags.

theres no such thing
theres prophecies game of the year edition, which only has proph+bonus items

guild wars platinum edition is the one that comes wit proph+eotn

My startup screen says Eye of the North. The box says Game of the year edition.

That would explain why I can't get into the crevasse. I guess I know what my next purchase will be.

Yeah, there have been like 4 posts here in Q&A about this in the last week. Game of the Year edition IS NOT eye of the North.

The Platenium Edition is a buddle pack with Phrophecies and Eye of the North packaged together (and thus all the confusion).

if you can see the crevasse, isn't there a green circle and green text saying "crevasse"? maybe press alt

Actually, there are multiple Platinum packages now, I saw one just yesterday that was the GotY Edition + Factions
