Hello guys. My name is Drewsipher. I am also known as Wild Prince Cilero. Some of you may know of Blade Radio. For those who don't it is a internet streaming radio station. We make our home in Guild Wars, and love giving back to the GW community. If you'd like to check it out we are located at bladeradio.com. It has come to our attention that both the Masquerade ball and the Anti-Unification Rally are the same day. We are hoping to cover both events. I know personally if I do a show this day I will cover the Ball because I caught the tail end last year and it seems like fun. If anyone would like to check it out, we have a TS and we stream every night. Also, as an fyi we are looking for DJs. It is really fun, and we try to give back to the community as well. We do 50k give aways every Friday night as well as trivia questions for random golds given as donations by listeners and staff members

oh, Daisuko ^^^^ I'm 99% certain that the couples dance contest and the costume judging are separate events. So there will be awards for best dressed indivduals, as well as awards for the best overall dance performance (of which dress coordination etc is a part) XD

I totally trust you with this. You have been a major part in many other famous events, such as your own Wintersday event (which looked like it was cool, if only i was there!) and the Mursaat rally.
By the way, do I have to donate at least 20k if i am going to donate anything? Its just i have some ales and other stuff i would like to donate. I will contact you about that later.
By the way, can i have number 32 on Destroyer challenge? My IGN is Prepare To Burn, I will contact you soon.
Finally, can i be a costume contest judge please? I will wisp u in game about this as well.

You do not have to donate 20k to donate, you can donate as much or as little as you like!.
And the last costume contest place is not free ,sadly, we are reviewing who gets that spot.

Good, I was pondering if that was going to be the case, GWO online may have some issues, but they still have a lot of good people in the GW community that enjoy a great party.

This event sounds awsome.I'm new to GW but i watched a few videos on youtube & it's cool! I can donate 7k ( better here then waste it again on vabbian armor) maybe 1-2 greens i have left , a flask of fire water & a few sup runes i have arround ( i know its not much but some1 might find them useful)
Btw how do you make a costume without any festival hats?
Can i bring a date to the ball? I of bringing a friend i met online the moment i read of the event.

Well my fashion adiction got the better of me & i bought vabbian boots with te donation money I'm gonna try to get some money by the time of the event ,which i'm really looking forward to.I'm still gonna donate 2-3 greens & some sup runes no matter what cash i manage to obtain. To make up for the uncertain ammount of cash i might donate i offer my services to anyone wishing any form of help ( apart from money & item giving since i'm as dry as the Crystal desert for those).

No im having doubts about this event. Here are my reasons:
1.)Daniel hasnt posted on this thread for ages (im not sure how long in days)
2.)Daniel says that the procedes from some of the events that require money to enter are going to a charitable source. Daniel has failed to tell us what charity. Why? Is it because the charity is the "im stealing all your money for me, haa!"?
3.)Daniel hasnt replied to one of my comments yet
4.)Daniel hasnt updated the wiki page, all the info is on this thread
5.)This is the only community run event that has ever charged for food and drink (other than the 07 ball)
6.)Daniel hasnt told us that the cah pot has been spent on anything, and if it has, what on. 808k is lot of money to spend in just under a week, isnt it?

The charitable source will be declared at the event or sometime in the future , but will be made public at the time.
i cant reply TO EVERY comment you know, its a little hard to do.

This thread is contantly changing, it is time consuming to change wiki at the same time.
If you dont want to pay for food or drink, no one is forcing you(its still damn cheap)
I have made a list of everything everyone has donated,how do you know people have donated 808k? I PUT IT THERE.
There are many activities with cash rewards, plus i have to buy sweets and alcohol for everyone.
At the mursaat rally, i wasnt the only one running it, i was only helping them out, i had no power over what districts were managed, look at my thread here i am staffing for multiple districts.
You sir i have heard, caused some trouble on the mursaat pge on the wiki. you go to the event on saterday, an then pass judgement.

Daniel doesn't have to respond to you. You are part of the community, to which he is devoting a ton of time. People like Daniel and myself are nothing but selfless, and for you to even begin to suspect Daniel of scamming anyone is directly attacking my approval of his character and event, which is a direct attack on me. You are essentially calling me a liar. I do not appreciate your distrust for Daniel after I have vetted mine into him.
Why charge for food and drink? Because if the turnout is as big as the Ball or hopefully larger, this prevents us from running out because we can use the funds to purchase more alcohol on the fly. If all goes accordingly, we won't need to, and the proceeds can be used for the next event. You keep an event treasury, and you don't spend that money on yourself for any reason.
I agree that Daniel needs to update the wiki page, and I may do that myself when I find time. I am severely injured, and spending as much time as I can with my mom when I can. Real life always takes first place Freebies. For you to expect Daniel or anyone associated with this Ball to drop what they are doing to update things 24/7 is absurd. The wiki will be updated by tomorrow, just to make you happy.
However, I think you need to remember who you are talking about here. You are insulting one of the people I inspired via my community works. He is a spitting image of me 1 year ago, and that is a wonderful thing. It is almost as if you were insulting me, and I don't take kindly to that. So, with that said, I hope you rethink your positions on this matter, and I also believe you owe Daniel an apology, be it public or private; it just needs to be a real apology.

Charging money for food and drink is a silly idea. You already have 808k donations, that how popular this event is Sojar. Saving it is where these supposed donations are going? Thats not where I would choose it to go.
I am selfless myself. You may have heard about Burning Freebies, my free giveaway which I had to cancel due to lack of intrest. I also attempted to run and event called the Festival Disco, which failed due to lack of donations. I am currently trying to find a way to stay selfless in game, as well as in RL.
808 k is the current pot, but maybe Daniel can tell us what the stuff has been used to buy. I am planning to donate a few greens and golds if Dan will accept them. I dont care is he is a scammer and takes these, cause they are useless to me. Not that Daniel is a scammer, im sure now (finally!!).
By the way Toffin, you say that one person cannot live in the game 24/7 when your comment states that you are on all times of the day. You got served!
Sojar, you also inspired me with the Oktoberfest. Im not insulting Daniel, im just saying that if he could give the community a few more updates, that would be great.
